Ukraine loses 16 US-made armored vehicles, group says, but Kyiv’s forces still gain territory (15% of US supplied armor)
Cnn ^

The 16 US Bradley infantry fighting vehicles either destroyed or damaged and abandoned in recent days represent almost 15% of the 109 that Washington has given Kyiv, according to Jakub Janovsky of the Dutch open-source intelligence website Oryx, which has been collecting visual evidence of military equipment losses in Ukraine since Russia’s invasion began on February 24, 2022.

What are the Ukrainians gaining? They are taking a open fields and deserted villages in areas where the Russians hold positions are higher elevations. In other words, more meat for the Russian meat grinder.

It's territory they can't hold but that's not the objective. The objective is to do enough to keep the money following to Ukraine (and laundered to the right sources).

” Now, it is our duty to ensure that Russia comes to regret that foolhardy and baleful decision! “

Some of the dumbest world ever written on FR.

“We” have a singular duty, to pursue the best interests of the American people. And THOSE interests have little to do with Europe in general, and nothing to do with Ukraine.

Let me begin by agreeing with one of your points. Putin made a catastrophic decision to invade Ukraine. He no doubt saw himself as a Czarlike Peter the Great restoring the Russian empire .First the Crimea, then Ukraine and no doubt eyes on the Baltics. Tragic because Russia which had just been evolving from nearly ninety years of soul crushing communism, the irreplaceable genetic losses of two ridiculous world wars and the carnage of the gulag. It however imperfectly was recovering and reestablishing its distinct role within Western civilization. There was no reason why conflict between the American nation and the Russian nation needed to continue. Now much of the progress over the last 30 years has been squandered.

The globalists are indeed happy. They have no need or tolerance for independent nation states. They are delighted that this meat grinder is weakening and destroying two nation states. Even the blind can see what the Biden globalist cabal is currently doing to America. The globalists by any means necessary will transform all nation states into useful cogs of a globalist entity. Freedom and individualism is not consistent with this vision.

Also it is a bit ironic that so many relatively prosperous and content Americans take great pleasure in Russia hate. Perhaps they should consider that if not for the tenacious fighting and heroic sacrifices made by the Russians in WW II despite their horrific leadership , many Americans alive today would have never come to exist. The Russians took huge casualties but mauled the best of the German army imposing over 2.5 million German casualties. If the German army had been intact would America had been able to liberate Europe with relatively few casualties. How many Americans living today would have never come to exist because their fathers or grandfathers would have never returned or if they did would be maimed.

Finally you should ask yourself why the usual organizations that traditionally scream for peace ( the UN, the Vatican the whole crop of NGOs and their ilk) are silent about this meat grinder. They consider it a small inconvenience in the quest for globalism that incidentally is destroying your country as well.

We have a moral obligation to do what is in the best interests of the United States.

It is in the best interests of the United States that Russia - our historic enemy, which has historically been opposed to our interests - be humiliated on the political stage and that its military might be severely degraded. Russia must learn that invading peaceful neighbors leads only to humiliation and defeat.

THAT is why it is in America's best interests. And THAT is why we patriotic Americans have a duty to see to it that exactly that happens.

NATO summit incouple of weeks
Need to show off “Gains” for continued support

I am seeing a few military experts saying this was a mistake for Ukraine and they should save resources for a long term defensive war instead

For me to even begin to counter your argument, I would have to first agree with the implicit assumption that there is, indeed, a "globalist cabal" and that they have instigated or are at least profiting from the Russian Invasion of Ukraine.

But even if I stipulated that such a "globalist cabal" existed, you would still be guilty of the fallacy of Reductio ad Hitlerum.

(In a nutshell, you are arguing that just because Hitler liked tea, then it follows that tea must be bad.)

I am glad that the Soviets - who, particularly under Stalin, were only slightly less insanely evil than Hitler - fought against Hitler (of course, only AFTER Hitler attacked their erstwhile military ally). That, however, obligates me / the U.S. to NOTHING now. Until Operation Barbarossa (the German invasion of the Soviet Union starting on June 22, 1941), the Nazis and the Soviets were in cahoots with each other, joining forces to carve up Poland (the casus belli for WWII - at least, in the European theatre).

Since the conclusion of WWII, the Soviets (and, later, the Russians - with only a brief period of relatively friendly relations in the 1990s) have been our sworn enemies. Russian nuclear-tipped missiles are still pointed at America's heartland. More and more, Russia is now also stoking an ideological enmity between itself and America.

Finally you should ask yourself why the usual organizations that traditionally scream for peace ( the UN, the Vatican the whole crop of NGOs and their ilk) are silent about this meat grinder. They consider it a small inconvenience in the quest for globalism that incidentally is destroying your country as well.

Again with the fallacy of Reductio ad Hitlerum!

Because "bad people" (or organizations) are in favor of something you don't like, that thing automatically becomes bad, too.

Yes, I reside in Germany. You got a problem with that?

What possible bearing could that item of personal information have upon the matter at hand? How does that refute any of my arguments? How does that negate any of your absurdities?

Well it is clear that you disagree with my analysis. However you have not argued any logical refutations or offered a compelling alternative argument. Nevertheless FR is one of the few remaining forums where differing opinions such as these can be freely expressed.
