California Gov. Gavin Newsom said he had an “incredible relationship” with former President Trump, who he said was a straight shooter with him during the coronavirus pandemic.
“I didn’t have a closed fist. I had an open hand. We actually had an incredible relationship during COVID. It was incredible,” Newsom told Fox News host Sean Hannity in an interview Friday. “He would play no politics during COVID with California. Played none whatsoever. It’s a fact. And by the way, I’ve gotten a lot of critique from the left by saying that.”

Unfortunately Trump carried out Covid policies the Democrats liked during 2020. The great Trump performance of 2017-2019 is all the only-Trumpers remember; but it’s only 3/4 of Trump’s record as President.

1.. Had an "incredible relationship" Newscom as leader of the dims is signalling that they have crossed the Rubicon with indictment of Trump
2.."open hand" ....Trump tells the truth.....(while dims always lie).
Trump was a public servant and didn’t play politics.
Trump is a Boy Scout compared to sleazy politicians.
Trump's politics, mostly practical instead of ideological, were on complete public display when he was president. As everyone knows...with Trump, what you see is what you get. He still isn't particularly political.
In other words, you are not telling the truth.
Not supporting Trump is your prerogative. Lying about Trump isn't.
