Josh Hawley: Left Wants to Replace Faith with ‘State Religion of Wokeism’

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) said at the Western Conservative Summit on Friday that the left wants to remove faith from the public square and replace it with the “state religion of wokeism.”

Speaking at the Summit, hosted by the Centennial Institute at Colorado Christian University, Hawley said:

Have we ever in the history of this country had an adminsitration that would use the FBI on parents and treat parents as terrorists because they wanted to have a say in their kids’ education? That is wrong, that is unprecedented, and that has to stop. And we have to take a stand to make sure it stops.

This is the left’s war on the family.

I never thought of the Liberal agenda as a form of sharia law, but that is exactly what it is because they have turned every point in the agenda that they cannot explain scientifically into a religion to be taken on blind faith.

Even after the East Anglia fiasco exposed their phony hockey stick theory of Global warming, they just changed the name to Climate change and went along with barely a stumble. After Janet Napolitano worked for two decades to bring women phony equality of Title IX, they decide to do away with gender altogether, in favor of a bunch of severely autistic people, who don’t fit in anywhere.

Basically, what they are doing is pulling the ug out from everything we once thought that we knew and trying to tell us what the new reality is.

This article appeared during the impeachment, back in the nineties. Al Gore was still claiming to have invented the internet and I was still trying to figure out how to use it. Lol...I compare our level of cluelessness back then to that of our founders re: their underestimation of the level of evil that would occur in this nation. They assumed certain things might happen re: corruption, but had no idea just how bad some humans could or would become.

I can’t fault the founders for their lack of insight...when I, myself, am guilty of that same lack of insight....but with even more to ‘go by’ than they had at the time.

LOL! That reminds of a story about our family and the brand new Episcopal church that was built in our community. It was a beautiful stone building and all the young families, who were attending our church moved over there. I asked my mother (the choir director)why we couldn’t go to the beautiful new church. She said because they don’t sing. Singing was an important part of the church service for her family.
