we live in eastern Washington and late summer early fall there are fires in the middle of the state....sage brush, wheat fields, forests...and we have to live with horrible smoke for several days, sometimes longer.....so we know what it feels like...

The smoke has been horrible in CT for the last two days. I got up this morning with a sore throat. The sky was full of white smoke when I stepped outside around 7pm tonight. I probably should close my windows tonight.
