Former President Trump unleashed a torrent of angry social media posts Tuesday about the investigations into his conduct, the day after his lawyers met with Justice Department (DOJ) officials.
Trump posted several times on Truth Social, levying claims that he is being politically targeted and offering up misleading comparisons between his own case and President Biden’s when it comes to handling classified material.
“The Marxists and Fascists in the DOJ & FBI are going after me at a level and speed never seen before in our Country, and I did nothing wrong,” he wrote in one post. “Joe Biden kept (keeps) thousand of documents, in many locations, some illegally taken from skiffs while he was a Senator, a big portion of which were classified. He didn’t want to give them back, and still doesn’t. Nothing happens to him, with same reasonable prosecutor who correctly exonerated Mike Pence. I have a much different prosecutor, a Trump hater!”

The DOJis lashing out. Not Trump.
“Lashed out” implies not having justification. But he clearly does have.
He’s a rabid TDS guy these days. Just leave him alone and he’ll implode eventually.
I totally agree. It was insanely stupid decision to store at his home. I don’t care how secure it was. 4 years of hell with accusations, investigations, smears, impeachment and he thought they wouldn’t raid his home and accuse him of stealing classified documents?
Garland is AG he decides whether to charge Biden or any Dem. Garland isn’t going to charge Biden / Dems with anything!!!
Yes, he had the right to declassify. Are you saying that those documents are no longer classified? Anyone can read them?
Yes, if Trump declassified them. That’s the legal argument being discussed.
So, did he declassify them?
Ability to declassify is not the same thing as actually declassifying.
I wish people stopped with this silly theory that since he was able to declassify, he was not in possession of classified documents.
If I walk away from a store with a pair of pants without paying, I am a thief, even if I have the ability to pay.
And a few Clinton finger prints are around.

Some commentators say that there is a specific written procedure involved for a president to declassify documents.
Other commentators say that the president can verbally declare that certain documents are Declassified.
There are disagreements as to whether he actually did go through any process to declassify the documents. I’m sure that point of order will be the subject of more legal proceedings
until trump did it and a compliant archivist figured out a way to mis apply policy and procedure to the president who is truly “above the law”... and make it seem like “well it shoulda been codified” and now “we have an EO for that in our department these days... ex poste facto style”.
Some documents that Trump claims to have declassified, are not marked DECLASSIFIED.
AG Garland, Dept. of Justice, and the NARA (fed. archives admin) are pursuing a notion, that the documents NOT marked DECLASSIFIED are classified.
Therefore, claims the leftist powers of the DoJ (pressing this matter along with some bureaucrats of the NARA), the documents in question should be in the hands of the NARA - and, the determination of classification, should also.
The left wants to make an example case of the matter: “Trump cannot be trusted.”
When the matter is a document markings issue to be worked out between former President Trump and the NARA. Simply, Trump needed to, needs to, mark the documents correctly - the procedure is defined by NARA steps to take.
There are probably documents that support Trump, and that is why he kept them.
The left wants to know what of that information, would depose the left.
