Trying to explain NATURAL BORN CITIZEN to those who do NOT get the difference is very frustrating.

Sorry Rides, you are wrong in part of what you write. The parents do not have to be natural born Citizens themselves, just a U.S. Citizen of any kind before their child is born in the USA, however they acquired it. The parents of the child born in the USA must both be a U.S. Citizen when their child is born, for said child to be a “natural born Citizen” of the United States. The parents can either be born Citizens themselves, or naturalized Citizens who have taken the Oath of Allegiance to the USA wherein they renounce all their foreign birth allegiances.
A “natural born Citizen” is a person born in the country to parents who were both Citizens of the country when their child was born here. The parents can be either born Citizens themselves or naturalized Citizens as long as they were Citizens of the USA when their child was born in the USA. The subject of my article that was posted at ThePostEmail.com newspaper and shared here is that a false rumor was being circulated that Ron DeSantis’ mother was born in the country of Poland and moved with her parents at some point in time to the USA. That is absolutely false. She was born in/near Poland OH which is in Mahoning County OH abutting the border with PA. And both of her parents were also born in OH and thus were U.S. Citizens all their lives. Thus Ron’s mother was a “natural born Citizen” of the USA, i.e., born in the USA to parents who were U.S. Citizens when she was born. So the person who is spreading and circulating the rumor about Ron’s mother being born in Poland her family moved from there to the USA is either very nefarious or stupid.

But the naturalization must have been done before their child was born so that they are U.S. Citizens when the child is born. They cannot pass along jus sanguinus U.S. citizenship to a child is they were not yet U.S. Citizens.

She’s an American citizen by birth, but there are questions about the citizenship status of her parents.
Some Freepers such as yourself, say that she is not eligible, because her parents were not American citizens at the time of her birth.
Other Freepers say that having been born an American citizen, she is eligible, regardless of her parents immigration status.
Who can say which group of Freepers are correct.
Adjectives mean something. The adjectives “natural born” before the term Citizen in the presidential eligibility clause means something natural that is created by the laws of nature and not by man-made laws. It is a term from Natural Law. It is not enough to be born an American citizen to be the President and Commander in Chief of our military, or the Vice President. To be constitutionally eligible for those high offices, the person must be an American “natural born Citizen” (nbC). The nbC term is all about minimizing the chance of foreign influence and divided allegiance at/by birth for the person who would be the Commander in Chief of our military once the founding generation was gone. The founding generation has a grandfather clause in the presidential eligibility clause (Article II Section 1 Clause 5) exempting them from the nbC term eligibility requirement because none of the founder were a “natural born Citizen” of the new nation when the Constitution was adopted. A “natural born Citizen” is a child of parents who were both U.S. citizens when their child was born in the country. Under those birth circumstances the child with born with sole allegiance to only the USA. An nbC is a person born with sole allegiance to one and only one country. A person born with dual Citizenship like Nikki Haley is not eligible.
Likewise Obama who was born a dual Citizen, British and U.S. is not eligible and he was a usurper in office, as is Kamala Harris. One must be born in the country to parents who are both Citizens of the country to avoid divided allegiance and multiple citizenship at birth. nbC is a national security issue. A person born with divided allegiances and dual national loyalty requirements at birth should not be the Commander in Chief of our military. That is what the founders and framers intended and were worried about in the future of our nation. Look at what Obama who was born with divided allegiance did to our country and is continuing to do via his leading from behind control of Biden and his administration. That is the WHY the founders and framers chose the “natural born Citizen” term and put it into our Constitution, the supreme law of our land. But both major political parties are ignoring the Constitution by putting forth constitutionally ineligible candidates. And our Constitution and nation is paying the price for the avarice for power of the major political parties, the Constitution be damned to them if it gets in the way of their political agenda.
