A far-left international group that encourages groups of people to deflate tires on parked sports utility vehicles (SUV) in an effort to combat global warming has expanded its operations to 18 countries.
The group, named the Tyre Extinguishers and based in the U.K., has claimed credit for tire-deflating operations in American cities including New York City, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco, and cities in England, Canada, France, Spain, Germany and Italy among others. And most recently, on Thursday, members affiliated with the Tyre Extinguishers conducted an action in Lisbon, Portugal.

Those tires are made of petroleum byproducts, so, more fossil-fuels are required to replace those tires.
Now, those crazies will have to insist that all tires for EVs be made of other materials, and not the fossil-fuels that go into making them.

Yeah. Because only to a radical climate nutter does slashing tires equal green. Slash tires and new tires are needed, which means more rubber, more petroleum products used, more electricity used, and an otherwise perfectly good tire going to waste. Kind of defeats their whole purpose.
If the Marxist Winnie Mandela (dead at age 81 in 2018) was still around she could pay a junk fee for the sabotaged tires and patch them up enough to put around opponents’ necks to let the victims slowly burn to death in agony.

Her body had been scorched by fire and some broken pieces of glass had been inserted into her vagina, Moloko told the committee. Moloko added that a big rock had been thrown on her face after she had been killed.
Necklacing was used by the black community to punish its members who were perceived as collaborators with the apartheid government.
Photojournalist Kevin Carter was the first to photograph a public execution by necklacing.
Probably sponsored by tire companies. I saw a news story about some business attacked by an idiot who started to clean up the mess on security camera, owner said she forgave him, and as a cynic, my instant impression was, friend of hers, almost no damage, regional publicity for the business.
These tire slashers are anarchists supporting a big government cause, shows how dumb they must be. Eventually people will be able to buy specific insurance to cover it, and as is already partly the case, the net gain for the environment (if you accept their assumptions, I don’t) would be negative.

Oddly enough, there are no reports of older pickups with horse trailers having their tires slashed.
