Maybe you don’t have that issue. People ask me that question or some variation all the time as they want to shorten my name. I usually answer, “I’ve been called worse.”

See Post #37. DeSantis refused to answer the question because he was being set up.

It doesn’t speak well of him. If there’s evidence of him out there pronouncing his own name multiple different ways, then he’s just reinforcing the idea that he’s a total fraud.

I am tired of the Toal Fraud BS.

I happen to have one of those names that is pronounced one way in English and another in the Old World. When my friends chided me for not correcting the pronunciation a disliked teacher used, I simply admitted, “she’s technically right.”
