The launch of a presidential campaign is a carefully crafted, practiced speech. It’s not a wing it, off the cuff moment. Then the guy should deliver a speech instead of reading a script that's been put in front of him. In the video clip linked above, it almost looks like DeSantis never even saw the speech before he delivered it.
Compare it to Trump's campaign announcement in 2016:

What you see is what you get with Donald Trump, without the attorney legaleeeze double talk.
I’ll take that any day over a lawyer/politician who never had a job in the real world.
