Post-Announcement Poll Shows Trump Beating DeSantis by 40+

President Trump is up big against Ron DeSantis in a post-announcement Twitter poll - the same platform where DeSantis announced his campaign on a Space with Elon Musk.

GOP Primary Polling conducted after Ron DeSantis’ presidential announcement shows Trump leading DeSantis by 40 plus points. Team DeSantis claimed that the Florida Governor’s polling numbers would improve once he entered the race, however, instant polling from Wednesday night proves this is not the case.

The Twitter account Catturd, whose polls have been shared by Donald Trump in the past, released the results of their Twitter Poll that showed Donald Trump beating Ron DeSantis by 70.7%-29.3 percent. Catturd shared the results of their poll on Twitter, writing, “Final results … over 200,000 votes” blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="500" data-dnt="true">

NationalFile has reported on the fact that Trump’s RealClearPolitcs average GOP Primary Polling lead over DeSantis is 34 points. Catturd’s Twitter Polling result falls close to what scientific polling data shows.

While playing in his prom am on Thursday at his golf course in the Washington D.C. area. Trump told the media that he feels very good heading into 2024. Trump then sighted the fact that polls show him holding a massive lead over the Florida Governor.

Trump pointed out his large lead on TruthSocial Wednesday, writing, “I got 1.2 Million more votes in Florida than DeSanctus. Also, Bill Hemmer at FoxNews just used an old April Poll showing me leading by 51% to 25%. Why doesn’t Fox get a more up to date poll, 72% to 18%, with the other candidates much lower. Just like 2016!!! It’s why people are leaving FoxNews. P.S. Without me, DeSanctus would have lost the Primary and the General. Thank you President Trump!”

Trump also pointed out the fact that DeSantis only does well in the polls when Trump endorses him writing on TruthSocail, “Look, Rob DeSanctimonious came to me asking for help. He was losing badly, by 31 points, to popular Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam. He was getting ready to drop out of the race – Ran a terrible campaign! Ron told me he had one last chance, my Support & Endorsement, which Putnam, and everyone else, wanted also. I gave it to Ron, and the race was over. In one day, he went from losing badly, to winning by a lot. With 3 LARGE TRUMP RALLIES, he WON THE GENERAL ELECTION in an upset. DISLOYAL!!!”

Team DeSantis has said that they will close the gap once Ron announces. However, polling data is proving that this is not the case.

And does anyone really expect an immediate change? It’d be nice but this is early in a long campaign.

Trump will be the nominee. That’s just fact. DeSantis is a decent guy, but we don’t need decency right now. We need a willingness to get down and dirty, call it like it is. Trump is that man.

The only polls that really count are the primaries and caucuses that don’t start until Feb 2024. Anything can happen over a 9 month period in politics. But, I suspect that Trump will win quite handily.

Yes. DeSantis supporters were all about, 'he's not even running yet', 'just you wait until he announces...blah blah blah'. Well, we're waiting.

So, first it was that DeSantis hadn’t announced was the problem with horrific polling numbers. Now, that the announcement has come and gone, what’s the excuse? What’s the game changer? At what point do you get the message the vast majority want Trump to be the nominee?

DeSantis has outed himself as an establishment hack. So, no, he’s not an acceptable nominee in 2028 or any time in the future.

If you look back, I’ve been consistent from day one that it’d take at least 30 days post-announcement to see any change. Right now Trump’s got the media spotlight with his antics. Nothing is going to change that quickly. I think this will be a long campaign. Besides, if Trump had such a lock on things, we would not be seeing the increasingly crowded field. The first votes are not until February, I think, so dig out the popcorn.

As I predicted, DeSantis is throwing away his political future by running against Trump. His best chance to salvage it is to withdraw and give his unreserved support to Trump.

Trump is going to lose the general and then most everyone here will tell us he beat Biden by 20 million votes. It will be 2020 all over again.
