CHICAGO -- At least 14 people have been shot, three fatally, in Chicago shootings so far this Memorial Day weekend.
In the latest deadly shooting, two people were shot, one fatally, in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood early Saturday, police said. The two people, a 36-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man, were standing on a sidewalk in the 2300 block of West 18th Street just before 3 a.m. when someone fired shots, according to Chicago police.
Less than hour earlier, a 34-year-old man was fatally shot in Lakeview, according to police. The man was found on a sidewalk in the 500 block of West Surf Street around 2:15 a.m., police said.
At around 12:50 a.m., police say a man, 33, was found shot to death in Auburn Gresham. He was found on a sidewalk in the 7800 block of South Seeley Avenue according to police. He suffered a gunshot wound to the armpit and was pronounced dead on the scene. No one is in custody and detectives are investigating.

Gun violence= black violence
The Left likes to talk about “gun violence” and they say the solution is to remove guns from society.
But if this all gets characterized as “black violence” ... well, what’s the solution to that??

Sounds about right to me. The black hoodlums like to wound each other. Just for fun. Spray and pray style.....They are not always out to kill.
I thought Pravda said Mayor Brandon’s plan would stop this violence by sending out “peace keepers”.

33, 34, 36 & 37 years old. I would have thought the victims would have been more “teens”. Maybe it is a serial killer going after all the kids that were mean back in junior high school 20 years ago?

Pretty weak, I am still hoping for over 75 by Tuesday morning, I would be thrilled to death if they break 100 though, and sincerely hope they step up their game and make it happen.

Guy on a gun talk show today made the joke (probably one he heard) that instead of Gun Free Zones which don’t work they should declare Crime Free Zones if cities want to be safe. Also includes knife slashings and stabbings. More inclusive.
