A parent at Bob Graham Educational Center in Miami Lakes objected to five titles in the school's library, including Amanda Gorman's famous poem, "The Hill We Climb"...
Book bans undermine the power of literature to foster understanding, empathy, and critical thinking," said UTD....
...UTD also said they "proudly support" Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava's invitation for Amanda Gorman to share her poem in Miami-Dade County.

Here is the message with irrelevant stuff redacted:
Dear Parents,
Bob Graham Education Center remains committed to providing a quality program of library media center services to our students...
Recently, there has been media coverage regarding one of the books in our collection entitled The Hill We Climb. This text was reviewed and placed in the middle grades area of our school media center....
...even though The Hill We Climb is located in the middle grades area of our media center, it remains accessible to all students.
Another angle on Florida news ping?
Now local Miami media is excited about the Democrat party mayor of Miami inviting the girl who wrote the poem to read it in the city.
Don’t let the truth stand in the way of the Left’s destructive narrative.
If this is “censored,” the media should be aware that at Fairfax County Public Schools, by far Virginia’s largest school system, teachers are punished for every straight man and every white person that appears on their reading curriculum. Only gays and “people of color.”
This is in violation of the teachers’ academic freedom as defined by official policy, but few teachers know this, and it’s of little meaning when administrators and their delegates (chairpersons, etc.) can make life a living Hell for teachers they disapprove of.
"Gutted." If only.
From the little I’ve read of the poem, no student in any age group will care if it disappears from the shelves altogether.
You know what else would stop a lot of the election fraud?
1) Vote in person
2) on election day
3) on paper ballots
4) after showing government issued photo ID
5) with the observers from both parties having a meaningful right to observe and challenge each ballot counted
6) All challenged ballots to be decided by a multiparty panel.
Y’know, the way they vote in just about every European country and Canada, Mexico, Australia, India, etc.....the way we used to vote until recently.
oops, wrong thread.
must be done in 50 different states laws ...
