Russian authorities have ordered residents of nine villages in the Belgorod region bordering Ukraine to evacuate their homes after anti-Putin rebel groups began capturing territory on Russian soil.
The Kremlin's order comes hours after a pair of explosions rang out in the city of Belgorod overnight amid drone attacks on the FSB security service building and Interior Ministry offices.
Regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov confirmed the aerial bombing raid had caused fires at government buildings and urged citizens to take shelter amid the rebel attacks.
Ukrainian military intelligence said two armed Russian opposition groups, the Freedom of Russia Legion and the Russian Volunteer Corps, were behind the biggest armed incursion into Russian territory since Putin's February 24, 2022 invasion of his neighbour – recognised as a 'serious cause for concern' by the Kremlin.
The attack was seemingly unexpected, with the rebels able to gain control of several Russian towns in a matter of hours.

“Pro-Ukrainian” fighters? lol. You mean a bunch of knowns butthurt over “fortress Bakhmut” who decided to terrorize grandmas and become a fertilizer?
What Bryansk doink?
One of the things mentioned in those discord files was that Zelensky wanted to invade small Russian towns near the border to be used as leverage in any peace negotiations. So maybe we are finally approaching the end game now.
Given up on your Bakhmut propaganda I see. LOL
Where is the offensive counter-counteroffensive?
I think it’s a false flag by Russia to convince their people that it is necessary to take this war to Kiev, if not beyond.
.
"On June 22, 1941, over 3 million German troops invade Russia in three parallel offensives, in what is the most powerful invasion force in history. Nineteen panzer divisions, 3,000 tanks, 2,500 aircraft, and 7,000 artillery pieces pour across a thousand-mile front as Hitler goes to war on a second front."
The fact is that the Russians over the are going to reciprocate it, and you’d get sodomized by “pro-Russian” fighters.
Ukes in Russian uniforms, again?
Patrushev was warning Putin about Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions a year ago.
He told Putin to issue a mandatory mobilization order for those regions and Putin didn’t listen to him.
Clearly there is nearly no accurate information coming out of there, however from what I can find it seems nearly all of these troops were killed or captured yesterday.
The Russian people are long convinced. You don’t even hear the liberals whining about war because they are past stage 5 of acceptance that there are no good Russians for the West anymore. I think Putin is the problem. He is a soft ass Westernist hoping for returning of business as usual.
They sure like their big hats.
How panik goink?
And Ukrainians will soon totally surround Bakhmut. The northern and southern flanks are continuing to collapse with fleeing Russian troops.
Reports Putin will withdraw units of the 3rd motorized rifle division of the 20th combined-arms army from the front (Luhansk direction) & redeploy them to the Belgorod region.
Story above not believable
We must wait for Putin and the Kremlin and the official government-controlled media to report the ‘truth’. They should study how Baghdad Bob reported the battles around Iraq, where he reported Saddam’s version of the truth.
“I think Putin is the problem. He is a soft ass Westernist hoping for returning of business as usual.”
Agree, I get the same impression. He needs to give up that tack at least until the West comes to their senses, if that ever does happen!
And the funny thing is also the people here and elsewhere who are so fixated on Putin either have no clue as to what happens should he be deposed or otherwise leave office, or, more likely, just don’t care.
