The Biden administration tried to cover up China’s espionage. It was only discovered because of a viral video out of Montana. Once the scandal broke, the Biden administration put on a show of “taking it seriously.”
Since then it’s been confirmed that it was staged for the benefit of the American public.

Rick Waters, deputy assistant secretary of State for China and Taiwan who leads the China House policy division, said in a Feb. 6 email to staff that has not been previously reported: “Guidance from S (Secretary of State) is to push non-balloon actions to the right so we can focus on symmetric and calibrated response. I’m more and more convinced to agree with one guy I heard as a guest on a talk show last week. This is the test for EMP blasts to follow. No need for missile attacks, balloons are close to the targets. Especially if hundreds are in the air that day.
That way they can take over the country and make this a colony or China, not burned up by nukes. EMP will ruin us. No water, sewer, food, heat if freezing out, no power for phones or internet. Slow dying out without food or medicine. Dirty Chinese.

Is that lawn chair balloons guy still around? We need a Civil Air Patrol that can handle a pellet pistol. Use Mexicans, released from the Border and they get a Green Card for shooting down Chinese Balloons, or 200 hours in the chair-time. Kinda saves on bus and charter jet costs in relocations! The winds aloft disperse them where ever the winds take them.
Kind of like the FBI and the Clinton Administration calling the first World Trade Center bombers “lone wolves.”

If you have a pre-computerized vehicle like a 70’s one without electronic ignition, always carry an extra solenoid. An EMP attack won’t have an effect on it. I was told that years ago. I have an old 55 Willy’s Jeep. I bet an EMP would have zero effect on it.
