TRUMP GOES TO BAT FOR AMERICAN AGRICULTURE IN IOWA: ‘I WILL CANCEL EVERY BIDEN POLICY THAT’S BRUTALIZING OUR FARMERS’

President Donald Trump delivered remarks to a packed house of eager supporters in Davenport, Iowa on Monday evening, lauding his administration’s history of supporting American farmers at an anticipated campaign event focused on his America First Education Policy.

“We put workers first, we put farmers first, and above all, we put America first,” he said.

Trump stepped onto the stage and was greeted by electric energy. The crowd broke out into chants of “USA” as his signature entrance music, “God Bless the USA,” by Lee Greenwood played in the background.

Trump reflects on how his administration stood up to China.

Trump reminded Iowans that he repealed the “federal power grab over every ditch and every puddle on private land,” referring to the “Waters of the United States” that was supposedly aimed at protecting the “nation’s vital water resources that support health, environmental protection, agricultural activity, and economic growth,” via the EPA.

The 45th president also highlighted his administration’s work through the Department of Agriculture to cut the red tape off the processes of American farming.

“Our Department of Agriculture cut seven regulations for every NEW regulation,” he said.

Trump also pointed out that he “ended the NAFTA disaster” and replaced it with “something you like every night, the USMCA.”

The USCMA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement) was Trump’s substitution for the North American Free Trade Agreement. He also spotlighted the “more than 50 agreements” that he made in the White House to “boost farm exports.”

“Within hours of my inauguration I will cancel every Biden policy that’s brutalizing our farmers – every single one of them,” he vowed.

Every 5 years there is a new “Farm Bill” passed in Congress - this year the bill has 83% targeted for “Nutrition”. For those that aren’t aware the “Nutrition” portion funds SNAP ( or what we have always known as “Food Stamps”…to call this a “Farm Bill” is a joke: this is just another welfare program!

UPDATE on Farm Bill:

”The nutrition title is projected to make up 84% of total 2023 Farm Bill spending. This increase reflects COVID-19 pandemic assistance, growth in participation, and adjustments to SNAP benefit calculations.”

I think winning politicians have found it pays to support programs that their potential voters want. President Trump actually followed through on his promises, much to the shock of the Deep State and many others.

Iowa is getting redder just like Florida and Ohio. They can withstand the end of the ethanol program. Take one for the team.

My grandson-in-law is a farmer in Iowa. He grows primarily corn for ethenol, and soybeans to refresh the corn fields. The corn doesn’t
Bring in much money but Biden wants to stop the government subsidy for that corn. Sewet corn doesn’t do eell. That’s the corn we eat.
Iowa doesn’t have much in the way of market and facilities dgor other crops.

If Biden gets his way, those kids will end up financially screwed.

They’re looking at other agticultural options, but it all takes money and means.

Yrump absolutely needs to bolster those farmers every way he caan, but on the other hand, there are some who need to feel the pain of demonrat policies. And those policies clearly need to be seen as demonrat policies.

Right now, yhey eill blame the President of the Iowa farm bureau if they think they can get away with it.He met with Biden ehen Biden first took office and he, along eith other farmer dignitaries, were fed a ration of fertilizer...

Under Biden, farm states are in deeo $h!t.

I know most don't understand ethanol as well as President Trump and the American Farmer, so no worries.

After processing, corn from ethanol production has many uses in feed. It's a good move to support the American Farmer and American Economy which has won President Trump enormous praise and support from the Heartland.

Agreed, it's important to keep those ethanol subsidies flowing for a variety of reasons. First and foremost, political. You might think it's not a huge population, but due to electoral college politics it's very important. President Trump understands this.

Second, the corn used for ethanol has many post production uses, so it's not the boondoggle that non-farmers portray it to be.

Keep in mind that John Kerry has advocated the government nationalization of American farms in order to fight global warming. Make no mistake the commie/ socialists aren’t resting.

Good to see Trump hitting issues rather than calling names.
