John Poulos, the CEO and founder of Dominion Voting Systems, has mysteriously predicted the company’s collapse as the “damage Dominion has endured [following the 2020 presidential election] is just too severe,” despite their Fox News payday.
Poulos believes that regardless of the recent Fox News defamation victory, which saw the news outlet pay Dominion $787.5 million, the public outcry against the company will result in contractors opting to go elsewhere for their voting systems in the future.
He believes: “Whenever the next time a customer chooses to buy a new system—because every eight years or so, you replace your voting system for obsolescence and for certification issues—they’ll just say, ‘Man, it’s just not worth going through the hassle just to buy Dominion.’”
One example of this loss of confidence was the recent decision of Shasta County, California, to abruptly end its contract with Dominion.
Poulos told Time magazine, “by accusing us of the greatest American crime in history, it turned us, as one of our customers has described, as the most demonized brand in the United States.”
“Eventually, I suspect all of our customers will go a different direction… it’s just a matter of time,” he added.
The company had originally demanded $1.6bn from Fox, a figure 42 times larger than what its parent firm Staple Street Capital paid to acquire it in 2018. Dominion revenues for 2022 were forecast at $98 million.
Getting rid of the evidence. Getting the money out of the company as well. Wonder if he’ll go out and buy a field with all that silver.
Maybe the FBI will take over the complete operation?
Not. Enough. Rope.
A nsme change and back in business in time for 2024.
Name
The democrat party will take over where Dominion left off. The help from Dominion machines was/is irreplaceable and too good to let go, The dominion name and company may disappear, but it will live on under another name and under democrat control, directly or indirectly.
I may be a minority opinion, but I hope demand for their systems goes away. I would be just as happy to go back to paper ballots counted by hand.
Our elections seem to be too messed up. There is too much opportunity for shenanigans.
yes there were shenanigans with manual systems such as paper ballots. But we are not getting better or more secure elections with improvements in technology.
Why is it, decades ago, we had results of elections on election night, with manual systems, but with all this high tech nowadays, election results are not known for weeks sometimes?
“”$787.5 million””
Who WOULDN’T gladly fade into the woodwork with that kind of payday? Who is this guy trying to kid?????
Dominion voting machines are approved for Florida elections and DeSantis and Trump both won in Florida.
Just hire Dylan Mulvaney for some advertising exposure. Avoid controversy.
When a shell company becomes toxic, it sells off its assets to another shell company.
Spending the $787 million will take all the effort of the top people of the company.
Definitely mind boggling....Someone found and paved the way to corrupt a good system. No one listened: “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
They can’t go back to the old way. They just signed up millions of illegals to vote through motor voter.
What will DeSantis do? FL uses Dominion machines and Ron likes it that way.
““Eventually, I suspect all of our customers will go a different direction… it’s just a matter of time,” he added.”
This is not something you expect a CEO to say. He must be bailing and moving on.
“Our work is done. Now it’s all about finding a great place to hide out with our $$$$$$!!!”
The voting machines were a problem; they were not THE problem. Powell and Guliani chased a Cheshire Kraken.
Won’t be missed.
