U of California Regents to Violate Federal Law by Hiring Illegal Aliens
Front Page Magazine ^ | May 19, 2023 | Daniel Greenfield

A nation of leftists, not laws.

The University of California regents, saying they support an equitable education for all, unanimously agreed Thursday to find a pathway to enact a bold policy to hire students who lack legal status and work permits.

Bold, that is to say boldly illegal.

The Immigration Reform and Control Act is very clear on the matter.

§ 1324a. Unlawful employment of aliens

(1) In general It is unlawful for a person or other entity— (A) to hire, or to recruit or refer for a fee,
for employment in the United States an alien knowing the alien is an unauthorized alien

Which part of this is confusing?

“A novel theory developed by UCLA law scholars argues that the federal law does not specifically include states — or UC, as a state entity — in its language establishing employer sanctions and therefore does not apply to them.”

Federal law doesn’t include states? Big, if true.

So can everyone start disregarding federal law now? Or just lefties who want to open the border?

“The regents voted to form a working group to examine that legal issue, along with practical considerations about how to roll out a policy that is already igniting controversy.”

Ideally,

1 Enact the policy

2 Knowingly hire illegal aliens

3 Go to jail when Republicans take the White House

Obviously, the plan is to fake a challenge while the Biden DOJ will conspire to throw the case and announce that from now on it’s legal to hire illegal aliens because, well what was the legal rationale for DACA? It’s mean not to?

So what’s the exciting legal theory.

Any university violating US law must be denied any funding from the US Treasurer.

I worked as a Payroll Supervisor

NO ONE could be hired without a confirmed O-9 Form that had all the boxes ticked.

Texas, and Florida—please start busing illegals to the following Californian cities:

Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, Merced, Riverside, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, and Santa Cruz.

You’ll find the University at California at each one. They can use all the illegals they can get.

Let the illegals know they can work there, or at least get generous welfare checks, food stamps, free rent and all the professors, staff and students are eager to buy drugs and trafficked woman at outrageous prices! And, they’re easy to rob and rape, because they don’t have guns and accept their own white guilt.

Since there is no repercussions for those on the left when they violate laws, I’m not surprised at this development.

However, I’ve often said that when the illegal aliens start taking over the jobs of the elite professors at some of these institutions, we might find that these professors start insisting that the virtue they were signaling was not meant to apply to them. It was the OTHER jobs that should go to the illegals, not their own.

Gee, back when we passed Prop 187 overwhelmingly the Reconquistadors said “only de federal goberment can make dee eemeegration law”. That was Kvin de Leon and his buddies. Mariana Pfaelzer agreed and stomped the popular vote into the dirt. Funny how the interpretation mutates to fit their wishes.

Law is not designed to hurt democrats because they own the courts. Laws are only for their enemies.

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center, is a New York writer focusing on radical Islam and leftism.

But I like how enforcing the law on illegal aliens veers randomly from a purely federal to a purely state matter depending on which interpretations lets leftists flood the country with illegal aliens at any given time.

And to highlight one of the comments from Regulator:

Gee, back when we passed Prop 187 overwhelmingly the Reconquistadors said “only de federal goberment can make dee eemeegration law”. That was Kvin de Leon and his buddies. Mariana Pfaelzer agreed and stomped the popular vote into the dirt. Funny how the interpretation mutates to fit their wishes.
