Clad in a dressing gown, and not much else, in the suite of a luxury hotel in West Hollywood, it's clear to see how Karen McDougal might attract the attention of a rich, powerful, older man. A man like former president, Donald Trump, for instance.
Karen is an ex-Playboy model who claims she had a ten-month affair with Trump back in 2006. She's one of two women – the other being Stormy Daniels – who allegedly had a relationship with the married multi-millionaire prior to his successful 2016 election campaign.
It's these women's allegations that lie at the heart of the Manhattan District Attorney's office investigation into the now 76-year-old Trump, making him the first former president in history to face criminal charges – 34 of them, to be precise – all of which he denies.
But while Stormy Daniels is the accuser everyone knows about – a former adult film star whose silence was brokered and bought for $130,000 by Trump's 'fixer', his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, who was jailed for perjury – fewer have heard of Karen McDougal.

virtue signal
Thats been a given since she began an association with Playboy and Hefner. That was her one and only claim to fame, such as it was. So she is what she is.
The discussion moves on from there.
Me neither.
You forgot about Candidate 3:
3. Chaste and pure. Faithful to his wife. Makes great decisions for the economy and the country. In other words - Ron DeSantis.
“You act like an old person and you seem to be a big screwup.”
Perhaps we should look to Keith “Keef” Richards for some insight.
Is it wrong that I’m sort of, well ‘impressed’ with The Donald’s experience? The books he could write (or have ghost written) , should he so be inclined!!
Some of the bigger pubishers, such as Simon and Schuster will make a big announcement that they are not interested, but they aren’t the only major publishers around anymore.
But it is fun to trigger them.
They take the bait every time.
As P.T. Barnum said:
“There’s a sucker born every minute.”
People forget that, back then, Trump was a New York Democrat so he was behaving like a New York Democrat. Back when he was hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein, he was a New York Democrat. Heck, during the season where he hosted The Apprentice in Los Angeles, he had an episode where he and some of his apprentices visit the Playboy mansion to get words of wisdom from Hugh Hefner. And the media would have stayed quiet about all this if he hadn’t become a Republican.
She gains from notoriety. He is her connection with both celebrity and history. Since Trump is back in play its a good time to get her picture in the magazines again.
Maybe some other big fish (doubtless some eminent gentleman of a certain age, given that the woman is no longer ... youthful) will be attracted. This has always been the way of the demimondaine, to go from rich lover to rich lover, wearing her history as a sort of resume.
This is not in any way different than what was going on at the Paris Opera in the 1830’s. The demimondaine’s strut about, and the bearded gentlemen with titles look them over.
Where does RdS go to get his campaign money?
“Well, your comment would appear to throw out all court systems, across the world, right?”
Definitely not. The context is people condemning the moral actions of another person. If person A condemns person B for lying, and person A has lied, then he just condemned himself.
I don’t know, but you seem to speak from experience. I don’t believe her or you.
Yeah, it is coming out your pie hole.
Odawg, both are wrong and, yes, both need to be called out, by each other, and others.
It is obviously wrong to lie, and I will call that out in liars. I expect them to do the same to me, and have myself admit it, too.
You describe a recipe for anarchy, otherwise.
Only if your name is Donald John Trump.
First I’ve heard of the word “demimondaine” but you’re right she does seem to fit that profile.
As far as leadership is concerned, objectively, taking history into account, chastity is no recommendation.
The green-eyeshades conclusion must be that it is irrelevant.
It matters in the sense of personal salvation, but not in public affairs.
President Trump has admitted he made mistakes in his marriage. And all these stories are years before his presidency. I dont care if true or not.
It’s a good thing that conservatives no longer care about character.
That the Bidens are pedophiles, corrupt, thieving, lying, treasonous politicians, that the Democrats could care less about, doesn’t equate to a few demented women looking for a book deal and $$$.
