On Friday, Mr Zelensky was in Saudi Arabia for an Arab League summit.
Of the Arab League nations, only Syria has openly supported Russia's invasion.
Other member nations have sought to maintain good relations with Moscow.
"Unfortunately, there are some in the world and here among you who turn a blind eye to those [prisoner of war] cages and illegal annexations," said Mr Zelensky.
"I'm here so that everyone can take an honest look, no matter how hard the Russians try to influence, there must still be independence."
Host nation Saudi Arabia has walked a delicate line on the conflict - on the one hand supporting a UN resolution calling for Russia to withdraw its troops and pledging $400m in humanitarian aid to Ukraine, while on the other hand resisting imposing sanctions on Russia, preferring to see itself as neutral on the conflict.

I’m getting sick of listening to this corrupt scumbag, and I imagine much of the world feels the same way.
Things I hear from the media:
1) Russia is fighting Ukraine but it losing because Russia has a degraded military, bad equipment, and terrible leadership.
2) Russia is going to invade Poland and then move on and conquer all of Western Europe. Russia is dangerous.
3) Russia will move on the Middle East, conquering Arab nations and seizing their oil. Russia is unstoppable.
Maybe if Zelensky didn’t bring half a dozen Drag Queens with him (to comply with US DOD requirements) his reception may have been a bit better.
I guess the green t-shirts are suppose to make him look tough or something. I’m only surprised he isn’t wearing some globohomo rainbow shirt.

Pretty hypocritical for Zelensky to talk about independence.
Back in April 2014, the month after Russia-backed separatists in the peninsula of Crimea declared their independence from Ukraine, Russia-backed rebels in Ukraine’s eastern provinces of Donetsk and Luhansk also announced that they were forming independent countries: the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR). (”Luhansk” is the Ukrainian-language spelling of the place name, while “Lugansk” is the Russian-language version.)
Ukraine has been attacking them ever since then.
Where are all the meet and greet people?
Zelensky says this when he turned a blind eye to the shelling of the Donbass taking place for 8 years, that the media left, right, and center reported on as being horrific to what was done to civilians there.

It’s not a blind eye. They have their own problems and goals, and they don’t care that much about you. I would call it a “businessman’s eye”.
Why is what happens in Zelensky’s country any concern of teh Arab states?
Turning a blind eye to Ukraine seems a very wise policy to me.

these autocratic states are run by people holding power for a long time, with proportionally big egos
they have to kowtow to what literally is an actor playing a part, complete with special uniform.
he berates them publicly, and they have to swallow it, at least publicly. because this actor directly represents the war faction of the US, and they mean business.
