Three in five Americans now say inflation is causing them financial hardship, an increase from the end of last year despite inflation falling in recent months, according to a new poll.
A Gallup poll released Thursday showed 61 percent of respondents said recent price increases have caused severe or moderate financial hardship, 6 points higher than the level in November. That includes 15 percent who said the hardship is severe.
Pollsters found inflation is having the most significant effect on those making less than $40,000 per year, with 29 percent of them saying they are experiencing severe hardship and 46 percent saying they are facing moderate hardship.

is this the same 3 in 5 Americans t5hat voted for Pedo Joe and his criminal syndicate?
One good piece of news midst all the inflation:
The price of eggs has gone way down since February and March of this year. Maybe “they” ran out of egg factories to
make accidently burst into flames.
...However, 3 in 5 Americans will vote for the {D} next election to “fix it”.
Meanwhile, the Demented old pedophile is up in the Oval Office sending his Secret Serviced guys chasing after the ice cream truck or in Delaware with this Traveling Snake Oil and Freak Show.
Yes, but as long as your “right to choose” is threatened 4 out of 5 women could care if they pay a gazillion for groceries or their kids die of fentanyl.
And, yet, Mr. Mashed Potato Head, is leading Trump by 7pts (according to this poll)

Yep. Abortion is the holiest sacrament of all to many millions of Americans.
I’ve been retired for only 5 years but if this keeps up, I’ll be cleaning the toilets at Walmart for all the Illegal Alien Walmartians spending those U.S. dollars they are given as a thank you for coming here and registering to vote.
And the other 2 in 5 Americans are living off government handouts.
Personally, I think some pressure is off demand for grocery store eggs because people got their own chickens or found locals who would sell the eggs. My SIL & 2 nieces have their own chickens & sell and/or give away surplus - the one who sells has a brisk business. All I have to do is chicken-sit for the SIL once or twice a month & I am “paid” in eggs. I also have a local farm meat supply so if shelves are empty, I won’t starve.
Not a good time to be on a fixed income that’s for sure.
Wages are flat or rising slowly. Basically everyone that works for a living is on a fixed (decreasing ) income.
“3 in 5 Americans now say inflation is causing financial hardship: poll”
“NOW say?” When did the light go on that inflation causes financial hardship?
The other two out of five polled must be pretty rich to not feel the effects of inflation . . .
I’m in my 70s so I don’t have to buy as much these days. I can find things on sale and pay about 1/3 less than usual.
But I feel for my kids and grandkids. They are being horse-whipped by prices.
100% an issue at our house.
The other 4/5 are feeling it also but slam down the phone in disgust.
The AVIAN FLU caused MILLIONS of egg laying birds to be killed.
The new chicks are just now starting to do SOME laying.
Xidenflation isn’t hurting xiden as he’s upped his take to a 15% cut for all transactions.
I’m more or less retired after recovering from some health problems but am thinking that now I’ll have to come up with some sort of side hustle just to keep up with inflation.
