EXCLUSIVE: 'I love her too much to say anything bad about her.' Rep. Lauren Boebert's husband Jayson says he is torn as she files for divorce after 18 years of marriage, declaring she’s ‘always been faithful’

Firebrand congresswoman Lauren Boebert filed for divorce from her husband after 18 years of marriage Tuesday – bizarrely stressing in a statement that she has 'always been faithful.'

And in an exclusive text to DailyMail.com, hubby Jayson, 42, said: 'I am torn by this a very sad thing. A horrible moment in my life.

'I love her too much to say anything bad about her. She is the mother of my children and my partner for the last 20 years. Please just let me have some peace.'

Boebert, 36, cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for filing. A court hearing has been set for May 31 in Mesa County Court in Grand Junction, Colorado.

In her statement, the sophomore congresswoman said: 'It is with a heavy weight on my heart that I have filed for divorce from my husband. I am grateful for our years of marriage together and for our beautiful children, all of whom deserve privacy and love as we work through this process.'

'I've always been faithful in my marriage, and I believe strongly in marriage, which makes this announcement that much more difficult.'

The couple were married in 2005 and share four boys together.

Court documents obtained by DailyMail.com show that Lauren filed for divorce on the grounds that the marriage was ‘irretrievably broken.’

She has also made a bid for a temporary order granting primary custody of the couple’s sons, Tyler, 18, Brody, 15, Kaydon, 13, and Roman 10, as well as child and spousal support.

In court papers obtained by DailyMail.com, process server Mike Estep said Jayson Boebert was drinking a beer and cleaning a gun when he tried to serve him. 'Once he learned that he was being served with Dissolution of Marriage papers he was extremely angry,' Estop wrote

“I have always been faithful” coming from a woman means “he hasn’t been faithful.” IMO

It’s their business.

Why are they making statements that make the other party look bad?

She needs prayer, lots of it - God is not pleased with divorce, Satan loves it.

Hope nobody votes for her likely communist transgenderizer opponent just because of her personal spiritual problems.

My divorce from my first wife is the best thing that ever happened to me and our kids.

For the record could care less if she wanted a divorce if she were a private citizen.

Boebert is a member of the HOR where the last thing you want to do is marginalize yourself. Leverage is weakened pertaining to advancing policies. Like it or not, reps need to appeal to a wide audience and convince other Reps by “going over their heads” commanding changes that are pushed by a large percentage of the population. Boebert may have valid reasons to divorce, the People need to hear them because her family values schtick sounds like a schtick with the irreconcilable card being played.

Um, no doubt. When she was underage her now husband Jayson pleaded guilty to whipping his package out at a bowling alley. We all make mistakes, and then there's stuff like that.

God not being pleased with divorce is not an indictment on anybody, merely stating God's position from His Word.

I have been through a divorce myself - humans are prone to make poor choices and sometimes a divorce, or a jail sentence, is the next best option. It's why we need a Savior.

I don’t mind 666 rules or high standards but what’s repulsive is these same women will probably demand men not have a list and will scream you’re objectifying them if doing so. That kind of crap is unattractive.

What about when “irreconcilable differences” means the other spouse has a side piece?

Or that their personalities are in severe conflict?

Your mistake is to accept only one of the many possible interpretations of “irreconcilable differences.” And it strongly suggests an intent to slander Boebert.

Absolutely. Men are becoming red-pilled by the droves seeing how the whole American marriage system is stacked against them. It’s almost always the women that take the kids, walk out and then leave a hefty child support payment for the man. “Oh, oh, oh…emotional abuse,” she usually trumps in with an explanation that really means - “he doesn’t always agree with ME!” So yeah, now men are walking away and refusing to marry them. The 20 something hoe around anyway so the sex is easy, leaving the 30+ year old leftover women destine to live alone with their cats. The wall is undefeated.

I always hate to see these things happen. What is happening with conservative Congresswomen? MTG is going through a divorce too.

I wonder if her being in DC so much strained the marriage.

You don’t know any of that, and as for your comment about her age, she’s only 36.

I’m sorry for your loss. It’s hard. My wife died in September 2021, so you’re a few months further down this road than I am.

If you want to talk, I’m available.

I’m sorry for your loss. I hope you have family to support you through this. It’s been a rough two years but it is starting to get a little better. It’s like starting to learn how to live all over again. I have to learn how to live as a single person after living as part of a two person team for 30 years.
