The clock is about to begin ticking down on Ron DeSantis’ presidential announcement.

On Monday, the Florida governor’s political operation is set to move into its new base of operations, which will trigger disclosure requirements with federal officials.

The DeSantis political operation is currently housed in downtown Tallahassee, but staffers are set to make a short move to a new downtown location that will serve as a more official campaign home, according to a source familiar with the campaign’s plans, as well as another person knowledgeable about the move.

That move will require the not-yet-filed campaign to spend more than $5,000 and, under Federal Election Commission guidelines, when someone running for federal office spends more than $5,000, they are required to register, file financial reports and designate a principal campaign committee.

Functionally, the office move will require DeSantis to file paperwork with federal election officials within 15 days, thus acknowledging publicly for the first time that he is running for president.

Agree. He has been a great governor. Fla is a state people want to move to, not from, like CA. I want to see a DeSantis v Newsom contest for POTUS. FLA v CA. This is one we will win 100 out of 100 times.

I like Trump, voted for him twice and gave him money. But re-litigating the 2020 election seems to be what he is all about, and he is damaged goods. He’s the only person who can lose to Biden.

I thought DeSantis was a smart guy. If he runs, he is finished. If he waits, he has a good chance of becoming President in 2029. He is young, but we shall see if he lacks patience. Nixon, Reagan and even Trump waited for the right time.

Chickenbleep,

Trump is an enemy to all those names, maybe minus Dole, that your party peddled as Presidential timber.

I’m sorry you didn’t get that breath of fresh air of Trump’s Presidency after your Bush-Clinton-Bush-Obama era ..

MAGA voters did.

Now, it’s back to Bush-Clinton-Bush-Obama era with your installation of Brandon.

You arent going to convince MAGA voters that Trump is secretly in the pocket of the cabal you’ve had to vote for..

Those swamp creatures that Trump had to source from are lots of Swamp Rs from your best life of Bush-Clinton-Bush-Obama era..

MAGA saw that.
You apparently didn’t.

Trump infiltrated your party, and had to deal with the R and D Swamp that co-owns DC.
Trump didn’t own DC. You R’s and D’s do.

But it’s okay.
Trump got to expose a lot of R’s not on Team MAGA and not America First.
Awakening millions.

Screaming at the sky is in the future for the Swamp..Rs of the Bush,Dole,Bush,McCain,Romney ilk, and all D’s, most affected..

Enjoy the campaign season!

"Jeb was re-elected. Cruz was re-elected. Trump was defeated.

Maybe he should ask either of these men for their pointers."

President Trump wiped the floor with both of those losers, and he will do more than that with Meatball Ron, he'll ruin Ron's chances of higher office forever, just as he did with Yeb and Tedlim.

You really are fully dialed in on the self-pwning auto-flame setting today, eh, droop? Schadenfreude.

This MAGA voter experienced the fresh air and voted for Trump twice. But Trump imploded his presidency when he handed it over to Fauci and Birx and set the stage for the present mayhem. He may be the candidate, but when you get played like he did you shouldn’t get a free pass and coronation. The problem Trump has is that there is another source of fresher air that’s more conservative, a veteran, middle class, self-controlled, young and a faithful husband and father.

Desanctimonious would have done the same thing.

MAGA isn’t buying anything from the Florida Swamp while Trump is running.

Trump has had to deal with 50 states bringing their Swamp to DC..
And did it as a billionaire former Democrat, who embarrassed R and D career politicians, even some decorated veterans, some young, some faithful swamp members..

Trump relates to the middle class more than the political class.
He represents the middle class better than the political class.

Trump’s self control brought peace and prosperity to this nation and the world.

Your R team hasn’t been sending their best.

It took a non politician former democrat, to embarrass allegedly more conservative, veterans, middle class, self-controlled, young and faithful fathers and men..

And with it, the R vs D con..

Quite the political movement to abandon after the stolen election of 2020.

But surrender monkeys are chirping a lot lately..

'Ron “Ted Cruz” DeSantis.'

Now, now... be nice to our current gov. He is still the best governor in the U.S. at present.

That said, I am personally leaning towards him not running as well. We need him here. Trump says he'll face the adversity and wants a fight, so let him fight. It will be epic. He has to know what he's up against in the Swamp this time, and I look forward to seeing Deep State apparatchiks strung up the whole length of Pennsylvania.

Then Ron D can move in in 2028 and clean up what remains.

Hey, I can wish, can't I? $;-)
