Former President Donald Trump steamrolled CNN’s Kaitlan Collins during Wednesday’s Town Hall event in New Hampshire, dismissing her politically biased and outdated questions, effectively reducing her role as the moderator by speaking directly to the audience about the “gotcha” topics a visibly irritated Collins continually posed throughout the night.
The highly anticipated town hall event, teased by Trump, proved to bode well for the former president, despite Collins’ attempt to begin the town hall event with a series of contentious topics and arguably outdated leftist narratives — from the 2020 election results to January 6 to accusations in the E. Jean Carroll case. Notably, Trump received a standing ovation at his introduction.
Collins kicked off the townhall event by focusing on the past election and election fraud claims. Trump made it clear, despite Collins’ implications otherwise, that he cherishes the Constitution, emphasizing the importance of living up to it.
“I mean, we have elections. We have open borders, look at what’s happening on our southern border,” Trump said, pivoting to more pressing subjects such as illegal immigration as Collins, at this point in the townhall, continued to press him on the 2020 presidential election.
“They’re being released from prisons. They’re being released from mental institutions, and we have millions of people pouring into our country, and now they’re getting rid of Title 42, which I put on,” he said as a visibly irritated Collins contended there would be questions on that topic later.
From there, Collins brought up another favorite leftist topic: January 6.

I wonder if CNN will have another town hall with Donald Trump..... ! : )
Butt hurt much, Rick?
Trump obliterated Collins and with her CNN.
The public reaction will not be what they expect it to be.
CNN-Light can join Fox Light swirling down the toilet bowl.
Get off your pedestal. 🙄
Yep, he would do that almost every day and take questions for 10 or 20 minutes.
Some days he would do that, fly to another city to address a group or a business and then engage the press again before he boarded Air Force One to come back to D.C..
In addition, everything he did was released to the WH youtube channel and comments were never closed. Fully open to critic and fan alike.
Someone on another thread pointed out that she looks like Dylan Mulvaney. Once that was stated, I couldn’t stop seeing it.
The host was arrogant and kept interrupting him.
The beauty of dementia is that you can't concentrate on anything long enough to be worried about it.
LOL!
TDS troll gonna TDS.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez @AOC
CNN should be ashamed of themselves.
They have lost total control of this “town hall” to again be manipulated into platforming election disinformation, defenses of Jan 6th, and a public attack on a sexual abuse victim.
The audience is cheering him on and laughing at the host.

The CNN Miss Imformationist was wrong about the 52 miles.
His abortion answer....very smart...might clean up the delivery but very smart.
Puerto Rico is ashamed of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
They’re trying to forge some documents that say she’s from Jamaica.
Jamaica has drawn a line in the sand and threatened war.
Well, she was close ... for a CNN hack.
Oh horseshit TG
Really
DjT is my man, but with an eye on a general election I wished for a more presidential, less combative showing wasting a chance to soften indy opponents. It would have stifled mod Collins, preventing incessant pestering, and pissed off CNN’s audience even more than they are now. They’re seething Trump got the forum, and kicked assets which indicates they think he won bigly. LOL
Although, there’s 20 long months to do so, still, he may need indies.
Why couldn’t he defer to the states re: the Roe v Wade debate. “Many states are coalescing around a 15 week timetable—I prefer less—but its a state by state issue.”
Or on the subject of election fraud: “Hell, Time Mag documented how it was rigged and I’m deeply troubled by the things I know, and have seen but for now it’s over and the goal is clean elections going forward. Voter rolls, voter ID—which the UK just codified, incidentally...”
just my humble opinion....
When someone says “... its a state by state issue” they ARE deferring to the states.
>> CNN will need to screen it’s Townhall audiences with greater scrutiny in the future: “Are you now, or have you ever been a supporter of Donald Trump and his MAGA beliefs?”
(With the due respect you have earned sir) nah, this was Trump’s dealmaking virtuosity on stage.
“Hey CNN! You’re hemorrhaging viewers, and I’m a celebrity. Let’s make a deal! I’ll join you in a town hall meeting. Send the most vicious moderator you want. But (during negotiations) I get to pick one-half of the studio audience.”
Game. Set. Match.
Don’t bother.
Some people feed on being contentious and you are responding to one of the biggest ones here on FR.
If you engage, you are just giving them the cheap thrill they are looking for. It’s not worth the time.
