I’ve reached the point where I truly despise the New York City jury pool. I wish them the worst of EVERYTHING!
From what I’ve read, Trump’s lawyers put up no defense. They just naively believed that the jury would do the right thing.
Did I read that wrong? Or are Trump’s lawyers idiots? Or are they part of the fix?
We are now living in a bizarro world. So I suppose that any of those possibilities are equally possible.
NY specifically temporarily extended the statute of limitations to allow this woman to sue Trump specifically.

Even without a successful appeal I doubt this will bring Trump down. They’ve cried wolf far too many times.

As i understand things, Trump’s lawyers knew from the get go they could not win.
So they will take this on appeal out of NYC and they will prevail.
If you are a Republican, you can’t get a fair trial in NYC or DC. Jury pool is tainted.

It is. And it’s something that’s prohibited in the Constitution. But, hey. The media will argue that this is a civil case, and not a criminal one. Plus Trump is a bad guy anyway.
Folks who watch CNN will buy that. The GOP elites know that Trump is being railroaded here. But they will say nothing. After all, it’s almost martini time at the country club.
