I remember back around 2000 junior officers referred to seniors as the dark side. The did a survey at CGSC @ Leavenworth and resulting in Majors stating that senior officers would run them over with truck to further their career.

The response from GEN Eric “The Monica” Shinseki was to go the Leavenworth and bitch out the majors.

Now we’ve reverted back past that point, hit rock bottom and continue to dig.

The response by the Pentagon to these concerns seems to be a doubling down of the woke ideology in the military.

The cultural rot in America's armed forces is so deep it may never recover. Oliver Cromwell and Leon Trotsky eventually had to build new armies from scratch. The existing structures were too dysfunctional. A revolutionary leader in the United States, or whatever it transforms to, may have to do the same.
