The Texas mall mass shooter reportedly recorded a bizarre message on his cellphone answering machine – informing his provider that he paid his bill, asking his parents for cash and telling female callers he has “plenty of money.”
Mauricio Garcia, who killed eight people and wounded seven others with an AR-15-style assault rifle at the Allen Premium Outlets in Allen on Saturday, appeared to obsess about money in the message, according to records obtained by Fox News Digital.
“Hi, this is Mauricio. If you’re the phone company I sent you the money, or if you’re my parents please send money,” he says.

“An AUTOMATIC AR-15-style assault rifle according to Hopalong Cassidy, the “former” Army officer and “former police officer.”
Woke army idiot and I guess police need better training if this guy represents. AR-15 are NOT automatic, that is basic.

Doesn’t it ask about discharge status? I don’t recall.
To: Vermont Lt
Yes. It asks if you were dishonorably discharged.

The Democrat Party stenographers are far-left activists. To them, truth is a White male Christian social construct that only serves to impede their long march to a Communist utopia.

They had this guy declared as a neo-nazi Mexican by the 10pm newscast. Claimed to know all the websites he hung around at. Crickets on anything else that are of severe public interest. The Las Vegas sniper, Audrey Hale - it's a mystery!

Yep, that’s what I’m talking about. With some tragedies, we learn all sorts of information within a day or two. With others, virtually no information is reported in the media.
And as we see with Audrey Hale, we know there is a “manifesto”, which we know is being withheld by authorities. It’s not like there is nothing known about that deranged individual. We know there are clues to her behavior in that manifesto, but we aren’t allowed to see it.

The Allen mall killer was thrown out of the Army in 2008 because he was mentally ill. If they failed to update the FBI’s NICS database to reflect that, then the Army is liable, because that would have stopped him from buying any guns legally. The Air Force has already settled an almost identical case for $144,500,000.

Where is the map of the mall - showing where the victims lay?

“Raise the age, raise the age,” dozens of people yelled at a rally urging lawmakers to advance a bill that would raise the minimum age to purchase certain semi-automatic rifles from
18 to 21. “Raise the age, raise the age.”

If this guy was thrown out of the service for “mental illness”, how did he pass the NICS check when buying an AR15. Did he acquire his firearms legally?* Did the US military fail to report his discharge for mental problems to the BATF?
Actually kicked out for a diagnosed mental illness? Or simply released from basic for "failure to adapt"?
To: Svartalfiar
I believe the NICS standard would cover a dishonorable discharge, we don't know the nature of his separation, or adjudicated as a mental defective or committed to a mental institution, committed meaning involuntary. Possible neither applies.

The crime is only a week old, but there is basically no new reporting since 5-8-2023. A mass murder is old news and down the memory hole in a day; the media doesn’t really want to find out anything inconvenient.
My wild guess is that the military has ways to “separate” dysfunctional recruits without a dishonorable discharge to minimize potential discrimination claims, etc. (Much like getting a thieving employee to resign is less perilous legally than firing them.) An Army spokesperson in one article makes it clear that they aren’t allowed to reveal the cause of “separations” — mustn’t violate a dead mass murderer’s privacy after all. So as usual, the government can lock down all information. We are unlikely to ever learn the truth of this.
