AR-15 is a copyrighted trademark. Colt bought the rights to use the AR=15 designation. Everyone else makes AR style firearms.

Technically an AR-15 would be made by Armalite. Anything is else a style of it.So true, any mfg that wanted to sell a piece of crud only had to copy the recognizable front sight, carrying handle and trigger housing grip and sell them like hotcakes.
