A town which once prided itself as being the “most hippie” in Washington has taken drastic action to outlaw drugs, after state-wide decriminalization led to spiking crime and child overdose deaths.
The proudly liberal city of 92,000 has been pushed to its limit, with the fire department responding to 223 overdoses — 2.5 calls per day — between January and April 12, according to Cascadia Daily.

1) Where is all that fentanyl is coming from in the first place?

First you normalize weed, then the harder stuff moves in. No one can convince me otherwise. Weed is also a gateway drug. All drug users I’ve ever known or heard of started by smoking weed. And yeah, dope heads; same can be said with alcohol. Pretty much always starts with beer, maybe wine.

Bellingham was wonderful in the 70s when I went to Western Washington College for three years (now WWU). Then transferred to UW which was a pretty good environment at the time also.

Weed is a gateway drug to socialism and government control. The government is pushing legal marijuana, because people under it's influence mostly vote for entitlements and government control.
