A video deposition of former President Donald Trump shows him mixing up former wife Marla Maples with rape accuser E. Jean Carroll — clutching a photo of her and asserting “That’s my wife.”
The mistaken identity slip came during the 48-minute video made public Friday in Carroll’s ongoing civil rape trial and were made up of clips of the 45th president’s deposition testimony from Oct. 19, 2022, and shown to a Manhattan federal jury Wednesday and Thursday.

Oh, I didn’t check to see if the actual pic was in there. Dang.
My rule of thumb: “If it is good for the cabal I don’t believe it. If it is bad for freedom and liberty, I don’t believe it. If I’m not allowed to say it, it’s true.”

If someone showed me a pic of me and my wife in a crowd of strangers and asked me who the woman was, I would assume they were asking about the person I was most likely to know.
If they said, “No, who is this one” I’d say “How TF should I know? What are you, retarded?” XD
It was likely a Freudian slip. He was thinking about how attractive his wife at the time was and thinking, “why would I touch this woman”.
Good point. I thought it was a cringeworthy moment.
This probably will get thrown out because of a lack of evidence. Then again, it is in Manhattan. If this gets tossed, I’m sure there’s going to another right behind it.

Well who cares? Only you. The guy was depositioned for like 7 hours so he mistook Marla for Ivana in an old photo. It happens.
Dershowitz said yesterday that President Trump would probably lose this case. Mostly because of venue. Said that he’d appeal because many mistakes have been made by judge. But the point is to get Trump and ke.ep him tied up in litigation.
She wasn’t a 13 year old kid - she was a grown woman in a story that usually had MORE salespeople than customers... If she had called out ‘Can someone zip this dress up’ - five sales clerks would have come running. There’s no chance she’s telling the truth.

IIRC, this is not true.
So then they changed the story and made it about how he said Carroll was not his type but in this pic, he identifies Carroll as Marla...Obviously, Marla was his type so the media and her attorneys concluded that Carroll must be his type.

“I don’t know,” in the sworn deposition. “It was towards the end of the marriage. So I don’t know, really. It could be a lapover, but I don’t really know.”
It must be awesome that you know more than Trump about his affair with Maples.
The object of the picture was to prove that he had met her...but you can tell from the picture that he has absolutely no interest in her..but in her husband john johnson...who was a big boy in Town.
Then they changed the entire story behind the picture. What a farce.
this case will be thrown out when its pointed out that Trump is the only one being prosecuted with this law.
Here's my problem...IIRC, Carroll filed her case within minutes of the law being passed.
