A Denver councilwoman has sparked fierce debate after suggesting that white-owned businesses pay additional tax, which would be given in reparations to the owners of minority-owned businesses.
Candi CdeBaca, a 37-year-old Democratic Socialist, told a business forum in Denver on Thursday that more needed to be done to provide reparations.
'Capitalism was built on stolen land, stolen labors, and stolen resources,' said CdeBaca, speaking at a forum at the Greater Metro Denver Ministerial Alliance.

There’s no such thing as “Democratic Socialism”. Socialism is about the government controlling the economy. The public has no choice in the matter. The government runs the economy worse than the economy can run itself if left alone.

Magna carta at the height of the crusades.
Once we learned rights, liberty and freedom we learned we could own real property, thus the buying, selling and trading.
Then came intellectual property, ideas and inventions thus patent law.
With that came the explosion of more ideas, the development of sciences, chemistry maths and engineering.
Then add in a little more Christian philosophy due to Martin Luther creating the basis for the entrepreneur and capitalist.
All of this served as the building blocks for the industrial revolution.
Then Great Britain had children.
Australia, Canada and the USA
Gosh, those Christian nations account for four sevenths of the G7 nations. Now, let’s bring on some more crusader nations, France and Germany, now we’re up to six sevenths of the G7

I would love to get my stepson and his wife’s opinion on this. They own a successful business they built from the ground up in Columbus,OH. They are also proud and loud bleeding heart liberals and would probably vote for someone like this. Probably have.
The councilwoman is being used by people who want us all dead (including blacks).

(in my best Jesse Jackson accent) I see a ROLLING river of justice in Colorado. The once large Colorado plantations where slave labor labor fueled the large Colorado cotton and tobacco industries. I SEE JUSTICE for those descendants of enslaved Africans who worked the Colorado plantations.

If it was stolen it was from indains not blacks.
There was a basis for magna carta. English history and the freeholders among other things. Property private to individual small farmers had long been a fact. That did not pertain in the rest of Europe.
