First words I heard on link included that they were wondering how with dozens of cell phones, door cameras, building video and the rest, this killer got totally away from being caught by police from Noon hour to 7:45pm. Without a predetermined plan and escape route as others had.

Re the Ativan. I heard horror stories from fellow caregivers of elderly parents/grandparents that were given Ativan in the hospital and how it caused horrible hallucinations that never went away. I know hospital delirium (aka ICU pychosis) is common in the elderly, and cannot rule that out, but these people all said no delirium or hallucinations before the Ativan). I know that any drug, especially any psychotropic drug, can have additional or worse side effects in the elderly, but this one seemed to be particularly bad.
I am not not a doctor and cannot conjecture about whether the Ativan played a part in this, but I do wonder.
Rather than demonstrate the courage of their anti-gun convictions by eschewing gun ownership, they go nuts with a gun, in an attempt to deprive others of life and liberty. Reprobates..
ativan is mostly a sedative. It can cause horrible delirium usually in elderly but in younger folks if anything it makes you sleepy. withdrawal from it could be another story - while not physically dangerous it could make you agitated and edgy. I would wonder what else he was on legally or illegally and what mental illness they were treating.

Speaking of conspiracy, the deceased shooting victim worked for the CDC. We may never hear the end of this.
Please keep in mind we do not know what other drugs this person may have been taking legally or illegally. Let’s wait for the full info. I realize we may not receive full info. What the shooter did was wrong but we cannot blame the drugs he was or was not taking as the culprit in the shooting. The shooter bears that responsibility alone

None of the most publicized mass shooters have been from the political Right.
From memory - two Asians in California (one of them over age 60), a trans-male in Nashville, another trans with a violent manifesto arrested before shooting anyone, an illegal immigrant who murdered five other illegal immigrants, and close to half a dozen Black males.

Sorry HOWEVER EVERY ONE of these shooters has been on some sort of psychotropic pharmaceutical this is the ONE THING they ALL have in common, there is something with these pharmaceuticals that goes terribly wrong in some people!!
You need to do more research. We have no idea what drugs (plural) these shooters were/are taking. Besides the shooter bares the responsibility for pulling the trigger. No drugs pulled the trigger on the firearm
