so Russia is admitting that its air defenses are so lousy that Ukrainian drones can now freely penetrate right up to Moscow and the Kremlin?
if Russia can’t even control their own airspace, then this war is soon OVER!!!

This could be a false flag on the part of Moscow to justify an attack on the Ukrainian capital or an internal power struggle in the Kremlin. Their press lies as much as does the Western press.
I think I read that back in December....Putin mostly stays in a bunker about a thousand miles east of Moscow.

If Zelensky were smart he would say: “Hey I would love to claim responsibility for trying to kill that SOB, but we had no drones in the area.”
“Our intel suggests it was a Russian drone launched from within Russia, I guess old Vlad is not very poplar with his own troops.”

Since 1943 the Soviets bragged of Moscow’s impenetrable air defense system. In an era of cruise missiles (per stealth), that young man demonstrated that the emperor indeed had no clothes.
It will probably come back as a big ole flurry of supersonic missiles aimed at Kiev.
Somewhat like the ones in NYC and the Pentagon. Those worked really well to our horror.
