An experimental Alzheimer's drug developed by Eli Lilly and Co (LLY.N) slowed cognitive decline by 35% in a closely watched late-stage trial, the company said on Wednesday, raising hopes for a second effective treatment for the brain-wasting disease.

The drug, donanemab, met all goals of the trial. It slowed progression of Alzheimer's by 35% to 36% compared to a placebo in 1,182 people diagnosed with early-stage disease based on scans showing brain deposits of amyloid protein and intermediate levels of tau protein, Lilly said.

An associate had his father put on some experimental alzheimer meds. The father was 90 at the time. How stupid is that.
Who trusts Big Pharma after their Covid genocide? Big Pharma especially likes to get rid of the elderly as proven during the Covid Holocaust.
What Happened in Hospitals During Covid?

Hospitals should be places you can trust to provide comfort and healing when you’re most vulnerable. But that trust may have been shattered by brutal Covid protocols that critics claim turned many hospitals into hellscapes of systematic medical murder.

I understand your feelings, but where are treatments & cures for diseases going to come from?
Are they juicing up Joe with these experimental drugs?
Much better than 35% would be achieved by increasing diet of avocados and egg yolks and Vitamin D3.
Beware the VA especially… their vax mandate removed from dolls who were simply being rational and reasonable as opposed to obedient without question.
Is that the kind of person you want caring for any human.
You’re on your own now; patient heal thyself.
You have a trial or test that has been conducted that shows that claim, or do you routinely make up data and facts for things you know nothing about?
How about mechanism of action--what properties do the avocadoes, egg yolks and Vitamin D combo have that improves cognitive decline in Alzheimer's patients?
I didn't say it was some kind of magical combo, and I don't need a stupid pharma "trial" to prove anything. Just see how an entire generation of Americans who were told NEVER to eat those things, among other brain-critical fats, saw a fivefold increase in dementia.
Then your claim is meaningless, as is your five-fold comment.
FR readers regularly (and rightly) criticize people like Fauci and other liberal reactions to COVID as anti-science, yet it seems that many of them know absolutely nothing about pharmaceutical science, or the scientific method.
You can question the protocol objectives, the way the study was designed, or what was measured...all of that's fair game. But at least this trial has repeatable results. You have nothing but specious claims.
