(Reuters) -Russia accused Ukraine on Wednesday of attacking the Kremlin with drones overnight in a failed bid to kill President Vladimir Putin, according to the state-run RIA news agency.
The Kremlin said it considered the attack to be a "planned terrorist action" and reserved the right to retaliate, RIA reported.

Sounds like the Ukrainians, when one of their ammunition depots was blown up on May 1 (as reported by The Times UK, BBC, etc), saying they shot down 15 of 18 Russian missles that day.
Flying a drone over either the Mayday or the May 9 parade doing nothing more that trailing a Ukrainian flag would suffice.
Everyone on the route or in the parade itself would know that Ukraine chose not to kill them, even though it would have been easier to simply do so!
The US isn’t a signatory to that, perhaps because of what it might mean concerning several presidents, their advisors, etc.
I didn’t mention The US.
Yup.
I recently read a book titled Raven Rock written by Garrett Graff, it goes thru the US Nuclear Preparations since Hiroshima and Nagasaki, everything from who becomes POTUS in the event the POTUS, VPOTUS and others all get taken out at one time, how to pass the nuclear command to that person, fallout shelters for the Congress, etc.
Scenarios were planned out like what would happen if the POTUS was taken out and the VP was in another part of the world, who would have the nuclear football and were they in a position to take command, it’s fascinating and given the times we live needs to be considered.
After the party hangover we'd replace our Champagne supply and send a stern letter of thanks. </snark>
I think we can all take great comfort that Kamala would be handling the backup football (so to speak) should anything happen to Joe.
How does a drone make all the way to the Kremlin before being shot down? Was Mathias Rust flying it?
It's an internecine war. The slav bros will continue to murder each other. My response is, meh!
Fly Putin and Xi to Gitmo for killing US soldiers in Afghanistan.
Ukraine says it has no knowledge of an attempted drone strike on the Kremlin in Moscow, adding that it does not use its means to attack other countries.
“We do not have information on so called night attacks on Kremlin,” the spokesperson for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Serhiy Nykyforov, told CNN on Wednesday, when asked about Moscow's claim that it had foiled a Kyiv-ordered drone strike in the Russian capital.

I would have thought they would brag about it.
No. It didn't happen.
Not my circus, not my monkeys. That doesn’t mean I won’t throw peanuts from the gallery!
Perhaps the Russians are forward deploying some of the Moscow S-400s to help defend against the anticipated counterattack and UKR is trying to convince them that is not a good idea. Who knows?
It happened, what probably didn’t happen was someone thinking they were going to take out a paranoid Russian dictator during wartime, with a drone by hitting his hardened official government building that he is rarely in and wasn’t in when the drones hit.
IF they did it...
Propaganda, shake the Russian people’s confidence, a Doolittle raid?
Zelinsky has enjoyed not being personally targeted. Note that little Nazi clown is going to wanna avoid his office.
Putin is stable and very normal compared to your president.
