Too bad he can’t be happy to just be the Governor of Fla for four years.
Too bad DeSantis didn’t team up with the man who stepped in and supported him for Governor.
Works both ways you know.
How many “people from industry” would have any interest in moving to Washington and working for the U.S. government? Probably not too many who are worth a damn.
Low wattage.
So a candidate has to scream and shout and be obnoxious to be noticed.
God help us.
Thoughtful people that just get it done won’t be welcome .
The toxic brash entertainment culture is wining.
Veteran GOP strategist very likely equals RINO not wanting to upset the apple-cart.
I don’t think Ron will run this go around.
“I’m leaning Trump. But Business Insider a leftist rag masquerading as investing news. When the left says please oh please don’t pick DeSantis in the primary it should be taken as a resume enhancer for DeSantis.”
I have to agree with you. Business Insider is almost as bad as AP. Well half as bad anyway. AP is really hard leftist.
The GOP Canidate needs to carry PA. AL is a done deal.
Get them from 2nd rate industry. Heck hire the bag boy from the grocery store. Can’t be any worse than Trump’s picks have been.
To be fair, that’s like saying Too Bad Trump can’t be happy being POTUS one time.
Don’t get me wrong, DeSantis is an asset to to FL. But unlike Trump, his direction and election went mostly unimpeded.
Regarding Trump’s picks, I was bewildered by Sessions’ surrender. Part of me knew at that point the fix was in.
The betrayal that befell Trump is likely unprecedented in America history.
In his press conferences in 2020, I noticed that RDS had started copying Trump’s delivery style, mannerisms, and speech patterns in a seeming attempt to mold himself into Trump’s image, which kind of bothered me. I remembered him from Hannity shows prior to that and it was like he was a different person. Apparently he’s a good governor, so maybe that’s where he belongs for now.
There are a few Vice-Presidents who became President through the death of the President. Not something to plan on, but also not something to forget. We very well could get Kamala in the Oval Office and a case can be made she would be worse than Joe.
Shhh....judging by many of the comments here, a lot of people are still committed to cheering for their team, even though they know the game is rigged.
Somehow they convince themselves that the cops on the take are still better than the criminals.
For me, it’s the old fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. But for many others, it’s fool me 1000 times, and I’ll still keep cheering “go team R, go team R”.
I sure wish the right attacked the left like they do DeSantis.

There’s a difference?
Trust me, we DO.
The Republican establishment nor their anointed candidates are any better than the left.
DeSantis was highly contested in his first election. But then got such great results he was a shoe in for re-election.
In fact, he made the state much more red and got rid of many RINOs in the legislature.
Trump did the opposite. Yes he had a full court press from deep state, fake news, and RINOs. But still he picked terrible people and that’s on him.
Yeah, but Business Insider isn’t on the right.

Harris is the dumbest politician I’ve ever witnessed, which is quite an achievement if you’ve ever studied politicians.
I used to say the Democrat party must die for the republic to survive. Now, I think it's the Republican establishment that must die first for it to survive.
