I'm not buying the notion that its because of recent crashes. Call it a gut feel on this...
It’s not unusual for the military to order a safety down day after a fatal crash.
Grounded until they finish TRANSitioning?
Diminishing returns from a program of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion fallacy in the Air Corps?
Training= cover for something else going on and blaming the pilots. Somehow I suspect “pilot error” wasn’t involved.
Our Army and Navy are, more and more, like a drunk pair of incompetent homeless people...
We are now barely able to properly defend ourselves against Haiti, Peru, and Papua New Guinea...
It’s about the crashes.
A lot of it pilot error, and the case of the TN-NG crash outside of Huntsville AL appeared to be a mechanical issue since there is video of it augering in.
Not sure if the black boxes survived the Huntsville crash, but from what I’ve read, they were able to recover the ones from the two midair collisions and the roll over.
You see this happen all the time after a Dem admin comes in. I am sure it is due to low maintenance because there is not enough money for parts, and less training because not enough money for fuel.Plus add to that affirmative action promotions.
It’s not unusual to have a “safety stand-down” when there’s been a rash of accidents. Gives them time to do some navel-gazing and get people’s focus back on safety of flight.
They must have been using the wrong pronouns.
The necessary training can, and will, be everything from Aviation Safety to Chemical warfare, common soldier skills, any and everything to keep aircraft on the ground. Enough days of no flying equals that many days of no accidents. The most cynical action you can imagine.
Hi.
Think about theses incidents within the last two years...
Humvees crashing into Humvees. Aircraft falling off of carriers, ships crashing into other ships, and others grounding. Helicopter s crashing into helicopters and ships burning in port.
I could go on but methinks all of this is not by accident.
Imho.
5.56mm
Safe!
Tested!
Effective!
....well, kids flying these aircraft these days experienced “no score” kickball, “no grades” in elementary school, jr high and high school, no more SAT scores, and affirmative action, zero accountability for breaking rules, DEI, ESG, CRT, shoplifting is ok..... and NOW their just too DUMB to even begin to fly these highly sophisticated aircraft.
The foregoing, in my opinion, is just about where we are now although I probably left a few items out.
It is a typical safety stand down. Nothing unusual when there is a cluster of accidents. Happens in the USAF and Navy too.
AA pilots and tranny brass.
Is this the U.S. military that is expected to defeat the Russian military AND the Chinese military?
“Hey Captain, what are all these gauges and controls for? I never even learned to drive a stick shift. Flying this helicopter is kinda complicated. A lot of this was not even covered in the 30-minute helicopter training video I watched.”
Maybe if they did not fly so close to one another.
Stress brought on by decades of Russian cultural civil war agitprop, promulgated by leftists (”liberals” of the Democrat and other left-wing parties), resulting in socialist factions going to war against each other.
A primary weapon of that multi-faceted socialist intercine civil war, is enforcement of political “thought,” that disables focus and disarms ability.
How about training them BEFORE you let them fly?? Maybe train them in flying instead of DEI BS.
There is no information on the crash. 2 pilots survived the crash, one died later on the way to the hospital. This suggests to me, the helicopters were doing a landing exercise. If it was a midair crash, I doubt anyone would have survived.
