Americans can’t afford to buy food, so Biden decided that they also shouldn’t be able to heat their homes during the winter. After an “environmental” measure that would prevent a majority of the country from being able to afford new cars, Biden is now going after their power bills.
The latest EPA proposal would mandate ‘carbon capture’ at power plants. A study by MIT showed that carbon capture raises the cost of electricity from 30% to 50% depending on the type of plant. Another study by Australia’s Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis however showed that prices could actually climb as high as 95% to 175%.
Imagine your power bills doubling? That will be the final blow for millions of Americans.

Next: the EPA is SCOTUS-banned from regulating carbon, so... they want to regulate carbon (again). This new rule needs to be litigated quickly.
I'll stop there.
This will also hurt the economy as people will have little left over for incidentals after a $500 electricity bill every month through the winter.
High electric costs crush small businesses.
The plutocrats love it because it eliminates the competition.
Oh... one more thing I forgot... this would be hilarious as a cost-killer for buyers of ELECTRIC VEHICLES.
They want you driving horses and buggies.
Then they will ban them as well.
This is part of the plan to create equity. Wipe out everyones savings and investments and place everyone on the same economic level: Broke.
It would be funny if we weren’t struggling...work has slowed down to nothing, families are being torn apart and we have lowered our heat/raised our AC and we’re still paying more than 2021-—These fascists need to be stopped. We’re being destroyed by a freaking 80 year old that has dementia.
“They want you driving horses and buggies”
And living in mud huts eating root vegetables and insects.
Candles, caves, and crickets.
nope, that would involve mistreating horses and buggies would have to be made out of either wood (cuts down trees), metal (requires mining) or plastic (never degrades).
There is no solution, because there is only ONE problem.
TOO MANY DAMN PEOPLE.
It really all comes down to that in the end, but no one wants to say it. There are just too many people in the world.
There is no enumerated power for the EPA in the first place.
It's, already, more than doubled.
Pfftttt! NVEnergy is ahead of the curve. Our bill is up (so far) $90/mth in less than a year “After reviewing your account.” is what I got when being informed my “equal payment plan” was going up. Raised it 4 times since last March. They are finally admitting that their costs of obtaining resources has increased by $xxx. Don’t tell me “After reviewing your account.” Our usage hasn’t changed much and if anything we’re using less. Can hardly wait for branDUHn and his pals to stick it in a little further. See tag line.
The wealth sovereigns running our government are oblivious to the impact of their policies on the common man which is why they should be prohibited from the government and politics.
I think you see the plan perfectly. The utter destruction of the US.
If it weren’t already obvious to everyone, leftists hate us.
You ain't lyin! The EV owners are grumbling about higher power bills. Of course, they blame it on "evil power companies" and such instead of the very politicians they voted for to raise energy costs to save us from our cow farting sins.
I think some government policies are already at work raising our power costs for year 2023. In my recent April power bill, the per kWh rate (after subtracting flat monthly fees) was up 19.1% YOY (compared to April 2022). NINETEEN POINT ONE INFLATION RATE! March was up 18.2%, February up 20.8%, and January up 19.5%.
December's rate was up 14.4%, but before that the other months of year 2022 were up mainly 5% and 6% YOY. So it looks like something is already happening for year 2023 to make power rates spike.
People say trump needs to debate. Why? This is trump campaign gold
They are already installing these smart meters in Rochester. They say they can only control it with your permission. Time to read the small print...the one that says...terms are subject to change...blah blah blah...
There are indications it’s not overly obvious to the lame brains that continue to vote for them.
