He's got nothing to lose.
Worse that can happen, he loses the primary to Trump but gets the experience of a primary campaign under his belt.
And in 2028, after eight straight years of Democrat incompetence, He'll be set up pretty good.
Of course, the best that can happen is DeSantis wins the primary, throws the entire Democrat strategy of running against Trump into disarray, and then we might actually wind up with a competent, successful conservative in the White House.
Jeb Bush and Paul Ryan are backing him. Enough said.

Trump is laying out common sense positions in the primary, positions that will force his opponents to take unpopular positions to differentiate themselves from the 45th President.

It takes Ron DeSantis weeks and months of polling and focus group analysis to figure out to say things that Donald Trump just says instinctively because he's known them all along.

You can’t destroy Marxism without changing the education sector. That includes changing the curriculum and culture of both 1-12 & higher education. (Not an easy task BTW)
Some of the road blocks to change besides educrats & teacher unions, are parents. One particular voting bloc stands out as an impediment to “change.”
