Yes but your digital money is based in a private bank and private credit card company, and they don’t have the ability to control what you use the CC for in real time. The only limit is your credit limit, not what you buy or where you go.
The CBDC will be controlled by government and will have the real time control of type purchases built in. In real time they can prevent you from purchasing an item, buying gas for your car, etc, and lower the value in your “account” if you make a bad statement about the government.

It’s amazing to me that people totally don’t see/ignore the similarities between FJB’s policies being pushed and the policies pushed by the WEF. The only difference between them is that the WEF does not hide its endgame, and FJB lies about it. All of the horrible stupid-azz things that FJB has done, were done at the behest of the WEF (of which Soros is a card-carrying member). You absolutely know that FJB would not turn down the kind of money that the WEF can afford to buy politicians
And it will be used in such a way that you will no longer be able to protect yourself against government overreach or ferals. Weapons purchases (guns, knives, baseball bats, etc.) vill be strictly verbotten

You might be right, but here’s another aspect of the issue to consider. I have two friends who work in Washington, D.C. Recently, while discussing the possibility of a cashless society, they told me that entire city blocks of retail stores, restaurants, etc. near their offices have now posted signs on doors and windows informing the public that they do NOT accept cash!
I own none now.
I have a few pieces of green paper with numbers on them and a screen on my computer with some numbers on it.
