why can’t the new board just rescind it?
BTTT
Right. “Drain the swamp” was a great campaign line, but all Trump was add to it.
No haven’t forgotten - but certainly not as President. His military experience etc. has given him the ability to be effective as he is in Florida....and would do also as President. However he would still need that learning curve.
When your state government loses against a theme park for sexual deviants, you know your state is in trouble.
“THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULD GET INVOLVED INSTATE OF PISSING AND WHINING.”
You are the one “pissing and whining” in CAPS because I think Trump needs to compete for the nomination and dislike the Trump Soy Boy attacks on DeSantis for any and every thing.

Let’s not let recent events and getting a legitimate doctor to advise him, erase history. Don’t care what anyone says NOW. No one really knew what covid was about. They created this thing for a reason.
Some like DeSantis and a few others decided not to keep their states locked down, like most other states.
According to that written opinion about this Reedy Creek last minute deal with Disney and the outgoing board, one Disney lawyer didn’t want his name on that contract. Even that lawyer knows this “contract” is on shaky ground. I believe the Sunshine laws was an amendment to the Florida constitution that was passed in 1992. Any change to tax policy (such as taxes will be collected to benefit roads for Disney World) must be publicly revealed to local tax payers before it is enacted. According to that opinion, local tax payers were not informed. So the contract is voided.
I though Vox shut down last week? Oh no wait that was Buzzfeed. Vox is next.
“Did you forget that Desantis has already been in Washington? He has a lot more experience than Trump did when he took office ..”
Not executive experience. Trump beats DeSantis in that area, by a wide margin. DeSantis appears to me to be heavily managed. He was able to walk into a situation in Florida where his party controls all the levers of power and faces little resistance.
I’m sure Disney will self-flagellate if told to do so by the political establishment backing DeSantis if needs be.
They should repeal term limits for Derangement.
We used to go to Disney World two, maybe three times a year, using the Year Pass.
But now we won’t go at all, never.
Why is Disney so woke? Walt is turning in his grave.
Trump is 89% likely to lose another general election. DeSantis took on Disney in a silly game to provide red meat for people he thinks he can steal from Trump. Disney should be subject to the same laws as every other Floridan company. He’s looking like a fool at this point. The “Don’t Say Gay” meme has stuck whether it’s fair and accurate or not.
“DeSantis, who is term-limited and cannot run for reelection in 2026”
OH! So that’s why he can’t wait to run for president.
If Woke Disney reins, we all lose. The culture war is no joke. Don’t be on the wrong side.
Oh, amen. DeSantis and the Florida legislature have all the cards and will win inthe end. And this prattle about lawyers: we’ll see about that. I’m thinking the Legislature is going to be willing to appropriate and adequate sum for the attorney General to vindicate the will of the legislature.
“Ron DeSantis loses again to Disney”
Trump cheers!
Desantis has over 4 years executive branch experience (more than Trump) and has been highly successful in that role. He also has experience in the legislative branch and judicial branch. He has a much better understanding of how all three branches work and work together than Trump.
