Tybee Island is off the coast of Savannah, Georgia and a nice little get-a-way for a few days at the beach.
However, before you make any trip to the beach in either Florida or Georgia, do a search to make sure there is not a gathering of college students planned for that week or weekend, especially one from HBCUs. For a family vacation to the beach can be ruined pretty quickly should you find your trip coincides with that of the feral criminal element.

I had to look up HBCU, because at first I did not understand why a Credit Union had a graduating class. The first thing that came up was "Historically Black Colleges (and) Universities".
Never did see any credit unions in the search.
