That is true. I've perused some of my wife's "romantic novels" and they can get very specific.
The problem as I see it and has been mostly universally understood, is non-skank normal women prefer a romantic lead up to sex. Men are more visual regarding sex and just the sight of a shapely woman in a bikini can lead to arousal or impure thoughts. Remember Jimmy Carter's admission?
Much of the difference lies in the testosterone levels in men AND women, their upbringing, religious beliefs, and the diminishing lack of desire in a couples' relationship for whatever reason. Age plays a big part, also.
