I keep offering pennies on the dollar for ocean-front property and so far no takers—guess they haven’t gotten the memo yet.

It’s actually 2 to 3 mm/year.

Rising sea levels threaten some coastal cities and the very existence of low-lying states such as the island of Tuvalu - which plans to build a digital version of itself in case it is submerged.
Hopefully they won’t keep the digital version on servers on the physical version. It wouldn’t help.

Isn’t that when William Bradford landed, in the Mayflower?

Rising sea levels threaten some coastal cities and the very existence of low-lying states such as the island of Tuvalu - which plans to build a digital version of itself in case it is submerged. Because there's no possibility that this is the result of subduction or Bradyseism.

20 years us not long enough to establish acceleration or deceleration . There is good tide gauge data for 150 years which does not show acceleration.

In lower manhattan nada.
But why let data interfere with a 100 trillion dollar scam?

I believe so...my point was that Columbus didn’t make landfall anywhere near Plymouth Rock...
Weekend time, FRiend!

On my dad’s side of the family, we can trace our family back to William Bradford... so yeah, Columbus never set foot in America.
And yes, weekend time it is!

That is a wonderful thing!
On my mothers side of the family we have one ancestor that crewed for Columbus...

The Pilgrims from England landed at Plymouth Rock, not Columbus. Or was your post sarcasm?
To: BBB333
So, Spanish slaves?
/literally honest question - I thought Columbus had either slaves or “indentured servants” as his crew, not honest paid sailors

“So, Spanish slaves?”
A criminal. Taken from a Spanish prison to serve the ship.
Hey - we can’t chose our ancestors!

“Water expands when frozen, making this theory complete bullshiite.”
The crystalline structure of ice takes up more space than liquid water. Liquid water starts to expand when it warms past 40F.

I was curious and dug deeper to learn about the temperature range in which water does expand.(aside from the freeze expansion)
I’ll stand corrected. Expansions were minimal, as I recall, but I’m sure that we’re all still gonna’ drown.

Until insurance companies, and elites, quit insuring/buying literal ocean front property, I won’t believe it.
I’m a “if you believe it, do/live it” kind of guy.
