“I was surprised to read about the opposition from some of your councilmembers to ideas put forward by your LGBTI+ community for Solvang to embrace Santa Ynez Valley Pride publicly and visibly,” Andersen wrote. “I was also shocked to read of the burning of Pride flags shortly after Pride events last summer.
Hey Denmark you were bunch of spineless surrender monkeys during World War II who capitulated and let the Nazis march in. How tolerant were they. We had to go over and save your @ss so STFU.
They should change their slogan: “Solvang: How Danes Were Before Denmark Went to Hell in a Handbasket.”

Well, the alleged "stealing" part of it may be problematic. It's one thing to buy your own "pride flags" and burn them, but stealing someone else's flags and burning them isn't good-to-go ...

Love Solvang, when I was young it was always a must stop place on our yearly family vacations. We would also go to the Andersons Split Pea Restruant nearby.
Yep I remember going there as a kid when my old man was stationed at Port Hueneme in ‘67 and ‘68
