Regarding the shooting of young bro-man Ralph Yarl, the Black teen who was "mistakenly" shot after ringing the doorbell of 84-year-old Andrew Lester, in Kansas City, MO, Lester turned himself in to authorities on Tuesday (04-18-23) and has been released on $200,000 bond. The old man reportedly told authorities he opened fire as soon as he answered the doorbell and observed Ralph grabbing an external door handle. He claimed he was "scared to death" by young Ralph‘s size and believed the minor was attempting to break in. Whatevea. We know BS when we hear it. Meantime, Ralph's aunt, Faith Spoonmore, says the youngster is pulling through his ordeal, but has a loooong way to go. What will take a lot of the pressure off, financially, is the fact that so far, according to RadarOnline, Ralph Yarl's GoFundMe has raised OVER $3 million and counting. Yes!

I can’t see him getting out of his case, when he admitted that he was shooting to kill and then he went outside to take a second shot to be sure.

Well, the long and consistent time-series record of crime, complied by the Justice Department and published annually as the Uniform Crime Statistics, show that blacks perpetrate murder about 7.5-8.2x the rate of whites. Most of that is concentrated in the 15–29-year-old male segment. At what multiple do you think it becomes rational to have heightened awareness? If these were midgets who committed murder at 8x that of whites, would you pay attention? at 4x? at 2x?
Large black teens at your door at night are like the email attachment that comes from a bank you no longer have an account with. Open up the attachment and it might just be a flyer for a new interest rate. Or, it may be a virus that steals your passwords, money, accounts and holds your computer hostage. Best practice is to delete it.

What is sad is that I know a very large black dude who is nothing but a teddy bear. Only thing he’ll do is hug you to death. And he agrees with me about the kids.

It was 10:00PM & Mr. Lester was in bed asleep when the doorbell rang. He grabbed his gun and made his way to the door. Before opening it or just as he opened it the 6' teen started pulling on the storm door handle which made Mr. Lester believe he was trying to force his way in. What would you think?
This man worked as an Airline Mechanic and has no criminal record. He could even be a vietnam vet. But we'll never hear about that because it's a positive. He worked all of his life, pays taxes, owns his home and probably maintains it himself. But his crime? Being white and shooting a black teen saint. I would argue that the same thing would have happened if a big white 'teen' had done the same thing. But even if being black contributed to Mr. Lester's fear it's not without cause. Look what just happened in Chicago this past weekend. Marauding blacks, beating the crap out of a white couple. And I could provide over a dozen examples of black on white crimes.
84 years old and alone where watching TV and the news is a big part of life. So he's no doubt aware of crime stats and how crime is escalating (he's in KC) plus how criminals are getting released as soon as they are caught.
It's Missouri and I'm really praying that this man can use the stand your ground/castle laws and that the DA isn't a willy nilly. The black KC mayor is screaming about racism about how it's a crime just to be black in the white man's world and blah blah blah. Can you imagine? Your mayor jumping in like that? Disgusting.
I see where you are, but snuffing out another human just freaks me out. It takes a lot out of me when I kill an elk or deer or hog.
I’m just not seeing it as a mistake. It may be unfortunate, if you believe the teens story. Or, it may have been a good move falling short a few inches, but either way, large men of any color should not be pulling on door handles of houses not their own in the late hours of the night. Shoot them every time.
Seems to me he could’ve just not answered the door and maybe have called the police if he was truly concerned. Unless the kid was trying to break in, no way shooting him was justified. Of course at 85, dementia could’ve set in too…
