Gov. Kemp urges Republicans to support a candidate who can win in 2024, move past previous elections

Georgia GOP Gov. Brian Kemp said Monday it is important that Republicans nominate a candidate who can win the presidential election in 2024, and that the party should focus on the issues that appeal to voters.

Speaking to reporters at an anti-human trafficking event in Marietta, Georgia, Kemp explained the criteria to receive his support. Kemp has not yet endorsed anyone for president but recently ruled out a White House run of his own.

"I'm looking for somebody that can win," Kemp told Fox 5 Atlanta. "You can't govern if you don't win."

Kemp said he learned in his re-election bid in 2022 that it is important for candidates to inform voters what they stand for, and not merely paint a negative picture of the opponent.

Pantywaists like Kemp like to speak around the bush.

What he's saying is that if Trump is the nominee, he won't put his shoulder to the wheel to help the Republican nominee win. He will willfully help the Democrat defeat Trump, just like last time.

Translation: Trump can't win because people like me in positions of power and influence will stop him from winning. So why don't we come to our senses and nominate somebody else, that is, somebody who we will help win.

You can’t govern if you can’t win. And even if you do win, you can’t govern if you’re not part of the Deep State. We are so f*ucked.

Ignoring wrongdoing begets more wrongdoing Mr Kemp. You are showing your dirty panties.

I have no doubt that Kemp is “VERY DIRTY” and it won’t take much opp research to expose the FRAUD!

We’re in trouble here, folks. The Republican infighting is getting pretty pitched. I appreciate that most folks are arguing from a position of principle, but at some point, we have to come to an agreement, or we’re going to get steamrolled in 24.

I vote for the candidate that has policies I agree with.
If I voted for people I think can win i’d just vote for Dems since they are generally better at stuffing ballot boxes.

Kemp was a Dem. Still is in how he operates.

“Kemp has not yet endorsed anyone for president but recently ruled out a White House run of his own.”

His endorsement would be line the “LIZ”_ard’s endorsement.

I’ve made no secret of being a DeSantis fan, but even he won’t win as many votes as Trump did in 2020. No R candidate can win without Trump supporters.

Inflation 1.5%
Gas $2.19 a gallon
Milk $1.99 a gallon
Unemployment at historically low levels
Southern border sealed tight
Violent crime rate half what it is today
North Korea not firing missiles over Japan
China not preparing to invade Taiwan
Russia not invading Ukraine
The President not getting 10% from a crack addict son

Shall I go on,Mr Kemp?

I see three basic possibilities:

1) The elections are thoroughly rotten and pointless. The people who count the votes matter and the voters do not. They will give us political leaders of their choosing, who may be of either party but who will always be unAmerican globalists.

2) The elections are genuine and the American people are hopelessly stupid and manipulated. Maybe 81 million Americans really did eagerly go to the polls and vote for Joe Biden, making him the most popular American politician in history. If that's what America has become, then what's the point?

3) Both US political parties are really one party and it doesn't really matter how the voting goes. The top Republicans and the top Democrats are more or less the exact same people, they just choose different letters to place after their names. You can vote and your choice may win, but it doesn't really matter in the end.

The only hope is an Outsider, and that happened once, and they won't let it happen again.

Kemp is just spouting rhetoric without spouting specifics, which has become a common theme among the “we have to replace Trump crowd” but we don’t know with who.

Going into the 2024 General Election we have limited options for victory.

We can nominate Trump and it doesn’t change this fact.
We can nominate DeSantis & it doesn’t change this fact.
We could run a Trump/DeSantis alliance ticket and it doesn’t change this fact.(This is our best option)

The 2024 Election will be “A Near Run Thing.”

When people say “Let’s move on,” they want us to move on before their part in the coup is discovered.
