Trump Jr, GOP under fire for going soft on Bud Light boycotts: No interest in 'pushing back'

Critics are slamming a powerful GOP committee and Donald Trump Jr. after apparent attempts to squelch widespread boycotts of Bud Light over its partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney.

Trump Jr. called for an end to the boycotts of the beer last week, citing how Bud Light’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch, has a history of donating to Republicans. On Saturday, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) quietly deleted a tweet and fundraising page where people could donate money and receive a drink koozie, the Daily Beast reported Saturday.

"Thanks to Dylan Mulvaney, we can all finally admit that Bud Light tastes like water," the NRCC said in the deleted tweet, according to the Daily Beast. "With our new [koozies], you can make sure no one confuses Bud Light with real beer ever again."

The reality is that nobody should be drinking Bud Light anyway. Its not really Light. It has almost the same calories of a regular beer. It is high in carbs. And you can buy Miller Light which has far fewer calories, so it is actually light.

I am sure that those idiots at Miller will screw us as well sooner or later. And when they do, they too should be punished.

Don Jr. looks a little gay himself with that yuppy beard.

Folks,

We don’t know much here. There is a possibility this has turn AB in an ally.

We can hope for the best here. Not assume the worst.

Remember there is nothing better for the libs than to divide us.

Miller Lite has been “Open & Proud” for a long time. You missed “Beers and Queer History”.

Ya can’t make up this stuff!

Nearly all are doing DEI. Acting against every woke company is impossible. One at a time. I don’t even think bringing down AB is achieveable. That idiot marketeer told us that Bud Light was struggling. An achievable goal is shutting down that particular product

Bud Light was trying to normalize values that are destructive to the family and our nation.

Junior is wrong to think we should only care if it benefits republicans or the Trump family.

He’s trying to differentiate himself from DeSantis. DeSantis is the anti-Woke crusader. Trump is hoping that it will backfire on him, and wants to make sure that Trump’s not hurt if it does.

“Anheuser-Busch, has a history of donating to Republicans.”

And PDJT has a history of donating to Democrats. All big-money people and corporations donate to BOTH parties. All the time. His excuse is just noise.

Well, why should an organization like “The GOP” get involved in something like this? The market seems to be doing a pretty good job of punishing this particular stupidity, and aren’t we supposed to believe that is the right process? Let the market take care of it? Don’t get me wrong, I’m no fan of the Bud Light idiocy and i think they deserve every bit of the whipping they are getting, but they ARE getting it grassroots from the market. And that’s the way it should be.

It is not the government’s fight. The government needs to stay out of it. Consumers on the other hand need to crash it hard. It will prove a point and might even provide a lesson to the public where unrealized power truely dwells.

Well, to be fair, Bud is backpedaling. That’s something. A lot of these woke corporations just push the pedal to the metal when you call them out.

Trump Junior thinks pushing for more sodomy and depravity is fine if the purveyors will give you money.

And that tells you everything you need to know about our elites happily allowing fentanyl to flood in, the Oxycontin scandal, accepting whatever the Chinese demand, etc. Our “betters” get paid.

And for a while I thought Don Jr was different from Ivanka.

“We aren’t just boycotting BL, but all AB brands. All of them. Does anyone want to see the list again?”

Concur.

I have the list, and it woll never hurt to show it repeatedly.

Who cares? From DM to the Big Horse. AB has apologized, do we expect a pound of flesh? Are we looking for a trophy of half-assed beer?

Instead of worrying over boycotts why not direct this fervor to organizing locally and taking a few city council seats, school boards, and pushing good people up to the big time?

Trump needs cash for 2024 and he doesn’t care where it comes from. There is a real danger he will run out of money in a general elect and get lapped again.

Nice to have the deal out in the open. Depravity is ok if they give you money first.

Btw, Don Jr made a big mistake by opening his mouth here. He should stay quiet and not mind that we boycott AB products. We need to extend this to all companies promoting the DEI ideology. It is toxic and divisive and they started it. They keep pushing us until we have our backs against a wall. Well, it’s time to fight back where it will hurt them most, their wallets

Trump could have spent the last 8 years building a political movement that will outlive him. Instead, he’s intent on tearing down what conservative grassroots there is when it opposes his personal agenda.
