There really isn’t a problem for AB that time won’t fix. Over half the country (right and middle) don’t have the patience to punish them long enough.
Everyone on the right and the middle have a vast array of beers to choose from. Bud ain’t that good and it will be easy to take a pass on.
Maybe, but at the point of sale there are plenty of alternatives and it’s not like the product is uniquely good because it is not. I’m guessing the promised Stern and Joe Rogan big payoffs to dis the boycott which Stern did yesterday and Rogan did today. They have lost billions so paying those whores was peanuts. They are obviously trying anything to kill the boycott but don’t have the stones to back down because they are terrified of the alphabet mob.

It is very difficult to make predictions, especially about the future.
Drinkers that I know say there is nothing really special about Bud; its cheap and they have had good enough marketing in the past - horses and all.
But now their marketing is bad. And their marketing guru has publicly said they will urinate their beer on their redneck base.
If Americans buy into this level of disrespect I’ll be surprised. Of course, a lot of people still watch professional football.
Their PR people probably advised them to lay low and keep quiet and everything will calm down after a bit of turmoil.
That is so right. I always avoid Chinese, never buy Nike, and never donate to the Salvation Army. It is pathetic how few will make such easy changes to buying habits.
And the group that WOULD punish them are all old, not their target market, and will all be dead within a couple decades. People under 50 won’t care in sufficient numbers.
It is very easy to attach an emotion to beer.
Marketing does it all the time. They create viral images, catch phrases, and songs that latch themselves onto their product.
They don’t want negative associations.
For example.
In the 1990’s a Coors beer, Zima, was marketed to men but developed a feminine reputation; men started avoiding it. Zima became a joke used for mockery more than consumption.
Alcohol has a bandwagon affect; people will chose a beverage because it is popular, they will avoid it if it becomes a joke.
Bud just made itself a joke.
It will be replayed again and again in every bar.
This hombre won't be buying any AB products. Gone forever, even if they course correct. If they did what they did, that's who they are, and I won't support them, period.
Agreed….Just look at the NFL…. This little dip might last 3-6 months at most…
We stopped drinking all AB brands.
Now we enjoy the huge variety available from Genesee Brewing Company.
Why bother with these AB freaks?
And therein lies our problem. The left has no such issues
