Hmmm... If he retires, will it be a bigger loss for the democrats or the republicans?? He does magical work to generate republican support for democrats' big ticket priorities - like going after Trump, passing their trillions of dollars spending to fund their cronies.
Elon Musk had a hilarious tweet recently about Mitch. I can't remember the exact quote, but it was something along the lines of "I often forget which party he belongs to".

You only get the one quarter to play the life video game, why would anyone not want as much time as possible to enjoy retirement?
McConnell seems souless and empty.
To stay in DC longer than necessary? Why? ...unless you beleive there is nothing better for you as your light dims.
