Russia trembling as Putin’s Wagner Group warlord claims Ukraine is preparing massive attack with 200,000 troops

WAGNER Group warlord Yevgeny Prigozhin fears Ukraine has built up a 200,000-strong reserve of troops ready to launch a huge counter-blitz.

The Russian billionaire has warned his feared mercenary army to "prepare for the worst".

-snip-

Prigozhin, who heads the group, said they have used reconnaissance satellites to spot the reserves.

In a post published by Concord group on Telegram, he said: "There is a joke that ends with the phrase: 'So big, but you believe in fairy tales'.

"Therefore, the political scientist Ishchenko and other very positive kind guys may turn out to be the best military analysts in the world.

"But I think that it is better to prepare for the worst, especially since there are already all tendencies towards this.

"And who sees how many people, I can say this: 'Tell me, who in our country has reconnaissance satellites, except for Wagner PMC? Therefore, we see 200,000 Ukrainian reserves, but we don’t see 60,000 UAF soldiers fleeing in fear'."

Prigozhin - dubbed Putin's chef - was doubling down on comments he made last month as he claimed Ukraine was preparing for an attack along the eastern frontline.

But ruthless Prigozhin could be attempting to drum up more supplies for his troops by exaggerating, according to think tank Institute for the Study of War.

The research group said: "Prigozhin‘s exaggerated statements about the imminent threat to Russian forces are likely an attempt to secure more supplies and reinforcements from the Russian MoD to save his forces in Bakhmut."

He said 200,000, and maybe 400,000 in the quote I saw a few days back.

This is right up there with UK MI6 agitprop talking endlessly about ahd propping up the narrative of the Ghost of Kiev.

Despite the neocon propaganda from some who post here, The Wall Street Journal detailed how badly things are faring for the Orkrainians:

Wall Street Journal
A Year Into War, Ukraine Faces Challenges Mobilizing Troops
3/23/23

“When Russia invaded in February last year, thousands of volunteers lined up outside military recruitment centers. *With many of them now dead or injured,* Ukrainian authorities are scrambling to recruit replacements, *often drafting those who have neither the desire nor the training to serve.* The result is a growing number of fighting-age men *who are attempting to evade service.* ... videos appearing to show men *being roughed up by enlistment officers* for refusing a summons. A disabled person *was drafted in western Ukraine and pronounced fit for service despite having no hands.* Another died on the front lines *within a month of mobilization after 10 days of training,* according to his relatives. ...”

2/2 Zelensky’s latest admission: In an interview with Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun he declared that “We do not have ammunition. For us the situation in the East is not good.”

Zelensky’s admission adds credence to what the Washington Post recently reported regarding how poorly Kiev’s forces are faring in this conflict, especially its “severe ammunition shortages” that one of its sources spoke about.

Ukrainian Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Marochko:

Kyiv’s forces are losing at least 500 fighters in the area of Bakhmut on a daily basis

LOL. Don’t worry, the Orkrainians are winning, Putin is on his deathbed, the entire Russian male population has been killed in action, Russia has no more artillery and has resorted to using catapults and shovels, and is on the verge of collapsing as weatern media tells me so!

They could raise that out of 31 year old men alone. There is a huge gap in the 20-somethings, but put it all together and yes they could. It’s a country of 41 million don’t forget.

A much-talked-about spring counteroffensive by Ukraine would actually benefit Russia, as Moscow’s troops would have an opportunity to fight in more favorable conditions, Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of the Chechen Republic, suggested on Saturday.

In a Telegram post, Kadyrov said he was surprised by “empty speculation” and concern swirling around Kiev’s supposed plans to launch an offensive, which is widely expected to kick off within several weeks.

“Personally, I’m all for it. For a successful counteroffensive, they need large resources; losses among the attackers are inevitable. At the same time, we have taken up favorable and fortified positions,” he wrote.

Did you think we'd forget about this, Marky?

https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2023/04/10/leaked-documents-ukraine-counteroffensive/

The document forecasting only modest success in Ukraine’s forthcoming counteroffensive indicates that Kyiv’s strategy revolves around reclaiming contested areas in the east while pushing south in a bid to sever Russia’s land bridge to Crimea, the peninsula Moscow illegally annexed in 2014 and now uses as a supply route for its forces inside Ukraine. The potency of entrenched Russian defenses coupled with “enduring Ukrainian deficiencies in training and munitions supplies probably will strain progress and exacerbate casualties during the offensive,” the document says.

It too funny whenever the forever-loyal Putinists call Prigo a neocon liar and say he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

Update on Russian military operations in Ukraine for April 12, 2023:

- Russian forces continue taking territory around the fortified cities of Avdeevka and Bakhmut;

- Russian forces now control much of the west bank of the Bakhmutka River;

- A Ukrainian missile fired deep into Crimea (and intercepted by Russian air defenses) may have been a Ukrainian Grom-2, comparable to the Iskander missile with a range of 500km;

- Despite the capabilities of the Grom-2 and potential NATO assistance to produce them (most likely in Poland) it is unlikely these missiles will appear in numbers large enough to overwhelm Russian air defenses;

- NYT admits Ukrainian air defenses are deteriorating, allowing Russia to more freely use its military aviation;

- While Western analysts claim this development may not translate into Russian success, arriving at this juncture is already very much a Russian success;

No, it’s funny that a dumb shill like yourself uses Rachel Maddow lines claiming thise who disagree with you are Putin loyalists, but you’re a libtard as she is as you both use the same tactics: you make claims about the person rather you are talking to rather than challenging their arguments.

Rachel Maddow would be zotted as should you be for behaving like she does and using her tactics.

You clearly don’t belong here. Plus, others here are eating your lunch as I am with the sources we provide.

Yevgeny Prigozhin’s father is supposedly Jewish, just like Z’s father. He’s as Jewish as Z is (actually, neither is Jewish under Jewish law, which goes by the mother).

So we have two alleged Jews fighting over Slavic lands. Quite ironic.
